DevSecOps Engineer

Configuration Manager

Participate on a Scrum Team that is modernizing a legacy application. Provision and maintain DevSecOps environments for a web application, including Dev, Integration, Test, and Production using Amazon Web Services microservice architecture.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Able to review all engineering change requests to assess impact upon configuration baseline and logistics support elements.
• Facilitates the development of new software solutions and transition of existing solutions from monolithic structures to micro-service structure operating within hardened containers.
• Working with application development teams to refactor or create solutions that leverage the DEVSECOPS CI/CD pipeline and tools. Instructs/guides teams through their solution development. Deploys and sustain microservices factory utilizing COTS and open-source solutions.
• Maintain the AWS infrastructure in each environment: C1D, C1-Int, C1-Test, IL6 C1- Test, IL6 C1-Prod.
• Manage the DSO Jenkins pipeline.
• Manage SIPR deployments and maintain the SIPR environments.

Required Qualifications:

• Must be USA Citizen.
• Must Have and Active Secret Clearance.
• Must have a current Security+ certificate or any 8570 IAT LVL II Certifications.
• Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority, such as, "AWS Certified Solutions Architect" or "AWS Certified DevOps Engineer."
• Five (5) years progressive experience in: DevSecOps Tools and methodologies. Expertise in automation of software pipelines for development and implementation. Building and setting up new development

tools and infrastructure utilizing knowledge in CI/CD, cloud technologies, container orchestration and security.

• Four (4) plus years of experience with Microservices deployment pipeline and management.
• Experience with IaaS, DevOps tools (Jenkins, AWS, SonarQube, Ansible), Container tech (Docker, Kubernetes), and security specific tools like Veracode, Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP Proxy, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
• Previous experience performing DevSecOps in a federal contract.
• Experience with US Air Force Cloud One / AWS
