We are seeking a skilled back-end developer to join our IBM Software team. As part of our team you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality software products working with a variety of technologies and programming languages.

Your Role and Responsibilities
DevSecOps Engineers at IBM are game changers accelerating the IBM transformation for IBM products and services we build and deliver to our customers. In this role you will design implement and maintain modern and open toolchains automation frameworks and its test suites infrastructure tiers advocating for e2e automated and secure CI/CD DevSecOps pipelines that satisfy quality and Agile stakeholders needs. Active communication with large audiences gathering requirements and addressing on-going and upcoming needs. Also prototypes and continuous improvements in our pipelines will be a common and active space to foster creativity and innovation same to address scalability security and optimization. You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary teams going from Designers Offering Mangers Development Mangers team leaders developers test teams CISO reps among others all of them under global teams within the IBM Z Developer Experience and AI organization.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience or exposure as DevSecOps Engineer designing implementing and maintain secure e2e CI/CD DevSecOps pipelines across its stages (e.g. Code Build Test Provision Deploy Release Monitor Plan Analyze)
• Experience with DevSecOps Toolchains (e.g. Tekton Artifactory etc)
• Experience on coding scripts CLI and automation frameworks (headless and UI)
• Experience with Linux (mid to advanced level)
• Familiarity with multiple OSes at scripting level : Linux Windows and macOS
• Experience on Agile practices
• Experience with automation (e.g. TDD Ansible playbooks Python or equivalents)
• Experience on containers technology (Docker Kubernetes)
• Experience on DevSecOps practices (e.g. static/dynamic scans & tools – AppScan Contrast Security SonarQube)
• Experience with SMC (e.g. Git or equivalents)
• Experience on Jira(or equivalent)
• Experience on IDE’s : Eclipse and VS Code
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Maven Build Experience (or equivalent building Java projects)
• Scripting Programming experience (e.g. Python Groovy Shell etc.)
• OpenShift
• Ansible
• Open Source projects (e.g. Eclipse Apache etc.)
• Familiarity with Cloud technologies: IaaS PaaS Containers Orchestrators.
