DevSecOps Engineer

Your Role and Responsibilities

We’re seeking an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to join our team responsible for designing implementing and maintaining DevSecOps practices and pipelines across multiple projects and platforms. The successful candidate will have a strong background in cloud development container technologies and DevSecOps practices with a passion for automation security and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design implement and maintain DevSecOps pipelines and practices across multiple projects and platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud-native applications and services ensuring alignment with company cloud strategy.
• Design develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to ensure seamless integration of security practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Ensure the implementation of security principles and best practices throughout the development lifecycle including threat modeling vulnerability management and compliance.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 3+ years of experience in Cloud development operation and maintenance (one of AWS Azure Google IBM Cloud).
• 3+ years of experience with container technologies Docker and Kubernetes.
• 2+ years of experience in DevSecOps practices processes and technologies.
• 2+ years of experience in continuous integration and continuous delivery concepts and tools.
• Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations.
• Experience in software automation debugging and performance tuning.
• Experience in software development or scripting.
• Knowledge of security frameworks and standards.
• Version control systems such as Git.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Demonstrated experience in cloud transformation.
• Demonstrated experience in OpenStack or OpenShift or Kubernetes.
• Demonstrated experience in Agile approach.
• Demonstrated experience in Microservices model Serverless architecture and Domain-driven architecture.
• Demonstrated experience in continuous testing and testing automation.
• Demonstrated experience in security and networking including network security architecture threat modeling and vulnerability management.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with DevSecOps tools such as Jenkins or ArgoCD.

Education
