This is a remote position limited to the United States and the lower 48 states.

What Will You Be Doing?

As an experienced DevSecOps Engineer at Everi, you will play a crucial role in securing our software development lifecycle (SDLC) and automating development processes. The primary focus of this role is the creation and implementation of a robust Secure SDLC strategy for our software development teams. In addition to this, you will contribute to process improvements, promote security best practices, and ensure the integrity of our CI/CD pipelines.

Some of the key responsibilities of this position are:

• Develop and implement a Secure SDLC strategy for software development teams.
• Automate and optimize software development processes with a strong emphasis on security.
• Drive process improvements related to security throughout the development lifecycle.
• Provide expertise in security best practices, secure cloud computing, CI/CD, version control, and repositories.
• Implement and adhere to NIST standards, ensuring compliance across projects.
• Contribute to policy creation with a focus on integrating security into all aspects of the development lifecycle.
• Work with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate and manage infrastructure deployments securely.

Skills, Knowledge, & Expertise Needed for the Job:

• Proven experience as a DevSecOps Engineer or similar security and development roles.
• Strong experience with Ansible, Kubernetes/AKS, Docker, Git, Azure, AWS, GCP, Perforce, Linux, Microsoft Server OS, and Jenkins.
• In-depth knowledge of security best practices and principles.
• Familiarity with NIST standards and their application in development processes.
• Ability to create and implement policies with security considerations.
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code and its application in secure environments.

The compensation for this role considers a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location at which the position may ultimately be filled. At Everi, it is not typical for all individuals to be hired at or near the end of the range; compensation decisions depend on each case's facts and circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $104,000 - $130,000 annually.
