Description:

This is an opportunity to join the IERUS team as a DevSecOps Integration/ Automation Engineer supporting a large Missile Defense Agency program.

The primary responsibilities of this position include developing automation scripts to install mission software. Identify and create containers for program components. Create, configure, and monitor virtual machines for software integration purposes. Assist with troubleshooting any operational issues related to the above capabilities. Work with developers and system engineers to understand the capabilities/operation of applications and products to support identification and troubleshooting of potential problems found during integration.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of related experience.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher certification requirements (Security + CE, GSEC, SCNP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA).
• Hands on Product Integration experience with complex DoD software systems.
• Experience installing, configuring, and optimizing virtual machines.
• Experience creating automated software deployments using Ansible.
• Experience integrating complex applications on Windows, and Unix/Linux.
• Candidate must have hands on experience with DoD integration methodologies and associated test tools.
• Candidate must have basic System Administration experience on Windows and/or RHEL systems.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Applications. 
• Strong communication skills
• Must have proven system troubleshooting skills.
• Must be a US Citizen with a active DoD Secret Clearance.

Desired Qualifications:

• Domain expertise in the user interface, Warfighter interaction, and concept of operations is a major plus.
• Experience with software containers (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift) a strong plus.
• A working knowledge of MDA elements/components (e.g., Aegis, Patriot, GMD, THAAD), message formats (e.g., TADIL-J), and off-the-shelf statistical analysis packages is strongly desired.

Location: Colorado Springs, CO

The proposed salary range for this position is $77.9k - $120.9k. Salaries are commensurate with candidate experience and qualifications within the experience bandwidth, as well as market and business considerations.
