JOB DESCRIPTION:

• To design, advise, and train software development teams in automation and integration activities required for DevSecOps workflows. The best candidate for this role is fluent in a high-level programming language, has working knowledge of scripting languages, and has previous experience implementing automation throughout the Software Development Life Cycle for DevSecOps pipelines. The role is part of a team responsible for assessing the capability of existing DevSecOps pipelines throughout SEC, helping to design and implement improvements, and assist software development teams on their use.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

• Fluency in one or more of the following programming languages: Java, C#, Python, Go
• Two (2) years previous experience implementing automated workflows in CI/CD, DevOps, or DevSecOps environments.
• Two (2) years previous experience using tools enabling automated workflows, such as Jenkins, Gitlab, TFS, Bitbucket, Git, etc.
• Two (2) years previous experience with containers and container technology such as Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, etc.

CERTIFICAITON(S):

• IAT Level II Required (Security+ preferred)

CLEARANCE LEVEL:

• Active Secret Security Clearance

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or other technical discipline

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Remote Option Available (One day a week onsite needed for meetings)
