The ideal candidate will understand exactly how new-age Application Management Services must transform to the one focused on FLOW by identifying and removing waste in the software development lifecycle and enabling business and IT teams to deliver quickly and continuously while maintaining sustainable pace and quality. S/he must fully appreciate what undergoing such a transformation journey means for both business and IT owners. S/he must have the ability to lead a skeptical customer(s) through such engagements from sales through delivery of outcomes. This will require collaborating with both business and technology executives in shaping and delivering their highly visible, highly impactful transformation engagements that will change their status quo in a significant way.

This individual will be confident and comfortable with challenging their peers in the team to continuously improve processes and ways of working. S/he will be equally as comfortable working with our clients, supporting go-to-market and delivery activities, from identifying and leading sales opportunities, to leading the execution of our key programs. S/he will also balance consulting expertise with technical content, operational know-how, and commercial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Take the overall accountability and responsibility of successfully delivering IT Operating Model or New Ways of Working Transformation Consulting engagements based on the established scope of work as per the signed contract
• Build a trusted partner status with the client C-suite stakeholders based on excellent delivery of the Transformation Engagement
• Achieve the following objectives in addition to any other stated outcomes by the client or your leadership team, in delivering your assigned engagement:

• Manage global onshore/offshore teams and the work they are delivering

• Move from client organization from "projects to a products and platform" organization
• Move from traditional (waterfall) ways of working to Agile, DevSecOps and Cloud ways of working
• Establish distributed Agile practices, but with the recent COVID-19 pandemic, make delivery of work effective with even 100% remote working of teams
• Attract, hire, retain, inspire and manage the new age talent required for the successful delivery at your assigned client(s). Mentor and guide the team members where required

• Ensure team and self-utilization at all times based on the quarterly goals and objectives established by your practice and account leadership

• As a senior level consulting leader, besides delivering your assigned client engagement(s), you will also be required to lead and/or support ongoing pursuits to win new business at existing or new clients. Such requirements will be discussed with you from time to time for active support.
• Own and achieve the assigned revenue, client satisfaction and team utilization targets
• Motivate your team members and also yourself to write about the delivery successes as white papers and thought leadership articles that are published in reputed forums in the industry. Also, find opportunities to present jointly at industry forums. Co-authoring and co-presenting with clients is highly encouraged and will be a plus.
• Refer and identify suitable talent for the consulting practice and actively support their hiring from time to time
• Travel to client locations as and when needed (sometimes up to 80% travel required)

Measurable KPIs

At the very least you will be accountable for the following measurable KPIs, targets for which will be set up as part of your goals and objectives discussion. There may be additional measures that may be assigned to you from time to time in your employment with Wipro.

• Client and team satisfaction
• Utilization / billability - self and team
• Revenue realization of the work you are managing / delivering

• Repeat business or downstream work resulting in revenue growth for Wipro
• Referenceable client relationships developed
• Reusable assets and/or IPs developed and contributed to the repository

Skills

The ideal candidate profile would be comprised of the following attributes:

• At least 10 years' experience in delivering large and complex IT Operating Model, New Ways of Working and/or Projects to Products Transformation engagements as an Engagement Manager or Engagement Leader
• Proven track record of advising clients and implementing new operating models and delivery methods such as Agile, DevSecOps, Cloud, etc.
• Deeply conversant with today's technology and engineering disruptors such as RPA, Cognitive Computing, DevSecOps, Open Source, AI in Software Development, etc.
• Not be a purest about any method or framework but must possess the knowledge and experience to advise clients for implementing required industry best practices to achieve better business outcomes

• Proven track record of successfully managing team of consultants in delivering such engagements and also as a line manager
• Proven track record of sensing and responding to new opportunities while delivering work at clients and ensuring it is brought to the attention of Account and Consulting Practice leadership
• Results driven team player who is able to inspire and lead a highly diverse team of consultants
• Ability to re-purpose client deliverables into reusable assets/IPs for consulting
• Proven track record of managing multitude of client stakeholders at the C-suite level, their direct reports and anyone of significant importance at your assigned client(s) / engagement(s)
