D&I and Community Outreach Intern

Job Description

Specific responsibilities include:

• Develop and co-create D&I programming and events with primary D&I Role
• Track and summarize survey data from various company training sessions
• Identify and compile information and articles that help progress our D&I strategy and goals.
• Liaise with Value Inclusion, Belonging, and Equity (VIBE) employee groups to plan and execute internal and external programs.
• Organize, maintain, and assist People Team with employee related tasks
• Understand and follow company rules and regulations
• Perform all other duties as assigned and required

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Potentially majoring in Anthropology, Education, Human Resources, Psychology, Sociology, or similar fields
• Demonstrate developmentally appropriate level of self-awareness around their own multicultural identities and others'
• Demonstrate knowledge and passion for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging
• Openness to communicate and ask questions when uncertain of material or tasks
• Interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of employees throughout organization and around the world
• Developmentally appropriate oral and written communication skills
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
• Ability to work as a teammate

Range for this position

$15.50 - $16.00

At Belkin, base pay is one part of our total compensation package. Individual pay is determined by several factors including but not limited to geography, job related knowledge, skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
