General Summary:
Unum is seeking to hire an experienced Digital Adoption Lead to join our Digital Experience Team to drive the adoption & engagement of enterprise digital products and services by promoting and improving the overall user experience of consumer-facing platforms. The role requires strong change management and communication skills to drive operational readiness, keen data acumen to identify and make optimization recommendations on product engagement barriers that impact user adoption, and successful experience leading B2C customer-facing adoption campaigns through outbound communication channels including email, IVR, text, content, etc. Digital product strategy, digital product marketing, email marketing, project management skills, and ability to navigate data and derive insights are the keys to success for the individual who hold this role.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required, or equivalent relevant business experience
- 8+ years of experience with digital product management and/or marketing, project management, and/or digital adoption
- 3-5+ years in a digital marketing, product marketing, or adoption lead role
- Experience driving adoption strategy on digital properties or similar products
- Experience in project management and planning
- Experience in email marketing platforms like HubSpot
- Experience with Google Analytics and or Adobe Analytics with a proven history of working with data
- Experience with Data Visualization with tools like Tableau and Power BI
- Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Sufficient with Adobe Creative Suite preferred
- Experience with experience mapping software such as Miro, Overflow.io, Vizio
- Superior written communication skills - ability to craft internal and external facing content
- Excellent presentation and influencing skills - able to present and win approval for concepts from senior leadership
- Ability to work on many projects and teams in parallel and see across multiple projects and customer channels and identify opportunities to connect adoption strategies
- Sharp critical thinking skills and creativity to strategize out-of-the-box solutions
- Self-starter with superior organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to resolve issues and conflicts with team members
Responsibilities
- Research customers' needs and wants with the ability to translate into actionable next steps to influence a digital product roadmap or behavior change
- Provide a vision and frameworks that allow a wide variety of stakeholders to share consistent, adoption-driving messages to clients and consumers about the features and benefits of digital platforms and their capabilities
- Serve as change team liaison and creative team lead for development of strategies, plans, and tactical execution of adoption campaigns leveraging outbound channels including but not limited to email, content, text, IVR, web.
- Actively seeks areas of opportunities within the business and brainstorms new creative ways to increase digital adoption
- Develops robust project plans, and roadmaps to increase adoption of online platforms for a multitude of target audiences
- Defines adoption key performance indicators and regularly measures results via data analytics or Qlikview software
- Identifies data needs and partners with operations and analytics team members to obtain necessary data to support initiatives and key metrics
- Understands the functionality of digital platforms across all enterprise journeys and remains abreast of new features for potential adoption opportunities of user experience improvements
- Drives engagement with business and field partners to gain support in digital adoption efforts
- Monitors industry best practices and reactions to adoption efforts to continuously refine and improve project plans
- Facilitate relationships with third party vendors and contractors
- Develops and monitors best practices, trends and new technologies and evaluates them for possible adoption

The base salary range for applicants for this position is listed below. Unless actual salary is indicated above in the job description, actual pay will be based on skill, geographical location and experience.
$103,600.00-$202,100.00
Additionally, Unum offers a portfolio of benefits and rewards that are competitive and comprehensive including performance-based incentives, healthcare benefits, insurance benefits, paid time off, and a 401(k) retirement plan with an employer match up to 5% and an additional 4.5% contribution whether you contribute to the plan or not. All benefits are subject to the terms and conditions of individual plans.
