Position Description:
Work together with Marketing and sales team to align on strategic perspective the added value for customers by participating in congresses and events at local and Iberian level. On this role it’s key provide and facilitate solutions and proposals related to internal meetings that are key to develop Spanish strategies.

Work together with Marketing managers to align on strategic perfective the added value for customers and in our Portals Web’s & Social Media Channels.

Functions, Duties, Tasks:

Events and Congresses

Collaboration in the design, production and realization of Veterinary congresses and events in Spain and Portugal, aligned with Marketing, Events and Sales.

  • Guarantee the established deadlines and within the budget,
  • Manage with the coordinators of each congress and our support agency, our participation in veterinary congresses and scientific events,
  • Ensure better space for the placement of our stand (or similar) within the room plan,
  • Manage with the Brand Managers and Sales managers the graphic communication and the materials that will be available and the assistants of the Elanco Team,
  • Manage registrations or attendance records with the Sales managers to provide them to our support agency. If rooms reservations are necessary, follow the same procedure,
  • Management of the necessary prior communication (registration, room reservation, transfers, etc.), for excellence in the attention to our guests,
  • Administration of the budget and resources for the realization of the event,
  • Incident management during the event,
  • Achieve the objectives set by the participating brands,
  • Reporting and results,
  • Closing of the Event/Congress and compilation of the Legal requirements to report on the Elanco Platform.

Digital

Collaboration in maintenance of our Web Platforms (My Mascota y Yo – MyElanco and YouTube Channel)

  • Maintenance of our Product Catalogue,
  • Collaboration with MK Departments for the generation of new content,
  • Collaboration with other countries to identify and share content of interest to Spain and Portugal,
  • Opening of new sections and remodeling of the current ones,
  • Maintenance and generation of sections on our YouTube channel,
  • Monthly presentation of results and application of improvements.

Minimum Qualification (education, experience and/or training, required certifications):

  • Degree level in Digital Marketing, Tourism and Event Management or similar degrees,
  • Good knowledge about Web and Social Media Management,
  • Fluent in Spanish,
  • Advanced level of English.

  • Professional events management and marketing qualification desirable,
  • 2+years of experience from events organization.

Preferred Skills:

  • A focus on Event Management & Digital capabilities.

Other Information:

  • Direct reports: 0
  • Travel required regularly within Iberia, and occasionally EMEA region, up to 20%.
  • Flexible work arrangement: 3 days at the office in Madrid and 2 days working from home.
