Responsibilities

  • Implement data management best practices and bring a strong understanding of why to follow them on behalf of the client team
  • Manage projects through coordinating tasks, tracking project progress and ensuring deliverables are met on time 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and communicate project updates effectively 
  • Maintain consistent communication with customers, provide support and assist in resolving issues 
  • Work proactively to identifying and address customer needs 
  • Present to and lead meetings with clients on a regular basis.  Presenting items such as: marketing campaign strategy and budget optimization, forecasting and campaign results over a specific period of time
  • Independently conduct analysis to address media questions from client and internal stakeholders 
  • Identify and diagnose common data issues such as data inconsistencies, missing values or anomalies, particularly as it relates to forecasting and budget management - yes
  • Document projects, transformations and data models as it pertains to the client and their business

Skills & Experience

  • 2+ years of experience automating reports in Excel/Google Sheets 
  • 2+ years of experience working within data warehouse tools such as RedShift and BigQuery (both will be used in this role at PMG), and the ability to work interchangeably within the two
  • 2+ years of experience as a Marketing Data Analyst in either a marketing agency or in house retail environment
  • Strong algebraic skills with the ability to “solve for X” as it relates to marketing analytics 
  • 2+ years of experience in pulling data from tools such as Tableau or Looker Studio for reporting purposes 
  • Ability to use SQL to clean and transform complex datasets, with limited supervision
  • Basic understanding of Media Mix Modeling and why to leverage it in paid media/marketing environments
