Job Description

Summary
The Digital Application Analyst will have strong technical aptitude and passion for working with business users to learn and understand processes to drive value add solutions. Responsibilities include enhancements, project assignments, and L3 - L4 support within a set of assigned applications. Typical duties include configuring applications to manage business processes per requirements, create technical specifications and documentation for solutions whether it be an interface or a new application with multiple integrations, collaborate with internal and external technical teams or partners to deliver on projects, enhancements, and support. Typical Applications supported will be either developed in house or third-party software with customizations and integrations.
Key Responsibilities
Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or university
Relevant Experience
Experience in an I.T. development environment. Experience of one or more full release cycles. Basic understanding of modern software development methodologies (Object), information security procedures and practices, and/or data management practices. Basic understanding of modern software development tools and SCM (software configuration management). Basic understanding of Software Test methodologies, test scripting and testing tools. Understanding of Basic Database Administration. Good verbal and written communication skills. Good meeting planning and facilitation skills. Experience of one or more complete projects. Good attention to detail. Basic understanding of standard business processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyzes and implements functional solutions for business systems and sub-systems spanning multiple lines of business regionally and internationally.
- Designs and drafts technical specifications from minor to moderately complex system changes and enhancements.
- Analyzes and modifies system design requirements to enhance functionality or fix known errors in software information applications.
- Participate as functional/technical lead on projects working with the business and internal teams to put together solution design and see it through implementation.
- Performs unit testing on modifications and configuration changes.
- May perform minor development functions depending on assigned application technology. Resolves Level 4 (L4) incidents and problems escalated from the Application Support and Operations team.
Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or university
Relevant Experience
- 3+ years related experience
- Working knowledge of SQL, and the ability to read/write stored procedures, triggers, SSIS
- Prior software development experience in one or more languages highly valuable. (C#, Cold Fusion, .Net, Azure, Sitecore) a plus or the ability to read through code.
- Understanding of Integration patterns like APIs
- Knowledge in one or more areas Product Data Management, Sales and Marketing, Digital user experience, Content Management Systems (Sitecore), and Mulesoft a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work in and across teams
- Passion for learning and digging into and figuring complex problems in areas of ambiguity. Wanting to understand and map out how things work and can be improved
- Well organized with ability to work on multiple tasks and pivot as required.
- Knowledge of Ticketing systems or Azure Dev-Ops
- Willingness to take after hours support as needed
