Job Summary:
The position is responsible for the strategic direction and implementation of Tracking and Traceability for the Natural Gas Business Unit (NGBU) to transform for the future. Responsibilities include partnering with the business to define, develop, implement, enhance, and manage strategic technology initiatives, standards, business processes, and training related to Digital As-Building tools, data collection, quality control, and entry into company systems of record.
Natural Gas Infrastructure data is a foundational business asset that enables the NGBU to evaluate risk, prioritize projects, make data driven decisions, and achieve operational excellence. The asset data and records collected for construction projects are the foundation for key business activities including: Natural Gas Operations, Compliance Inspections, Transmission Integrity Management Program (TIMP), Distribution Integrity Management Program (DIMP), Line Locations (811), Damage Prevention, System Planning Hydraulic Models, Emergency Response (System Outages), Line Patrols, Reporting, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, Engineering, Sales, etc. This position plays a key role in developing the vision and strategy related to new technologies and processes to improve data collection, data quality, and timely entry into company systems of record.
This position explores industry technology trends and best practices, communicates across multiple stakeholder groups, clarifies requirements, and presents recommendations to leadership and stakeholders. This position works collaboratively with technical lines of business to translate plans into actions that get results.

Responsibilities & Duties:
Develop and Enhance Vision and Roadmap for Digital As-Built Solutions for NGBU
- Develops strategic initiatives to improve the systems and processes
- Serves as a visionary subject matter expert and Business Sponsor on IT and Data Quality projects to ensure projects align with NGBU long term strategy.
- Explores industry and technology trends
- Keeps informed on current and future regulatory requirements
- Communicates vision and roadmap to stakeholders
Defines and manages product roadmap and execution of work
- Create, prioritize, refine, and maintain the product backlogs
- Write user stories, detailed specification documentation, and process documentation
- Organize and conduct training (new functionality, processes, tools, refresher training)
- Coordinate with multiple technical and support teams
- Work closely with end user community to identify continuous improvement items
- Participate in PI Planning and product showcases
- Manage stakeholder expectations
- Develop materials for communications
- Create and maintain procedures for data and records requirements

Support Natural Gas Utility Operations

- Support the Digital As-Built needs of the business during day-to-day activities
- Occasionally provide after hours and emergency support
Basic/Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors' degree and five (5) or more years of work-related experience; OR High School Diploma/GED and ten (10) or more years of work-related experience in lieu of a degree

Working Conditions:
- Position requires periods of sitting at desk and working with computers. It may also require occasional walking over uneven terrain.
- It requires overnight occasional travel, up to 25% - 50%, and infrequent work on evenings and weekends.
- The position provides on-call support.
