Digital Business Analyst I (Remote)

Job Summary

This position works under the guidance of Digital Leadership, Product Managers and Product Owners to deliver innovative digital business solutions within Florida Blue. This position is primarily aligned to the execution and delivery of the digital solutions in an agile environment using the SAFe framework. The essential functions of this role include:

Gaining a deep understanding of the solution being delivered; this is obtained either by participating in program increment (PI) planning sessions and/or reviewing documented feature level requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria. May be asked to collaborate in the creation of user stories.

Accountable and responsible for creation of user acceptance test plans; conducts testing during sprints, end to end testing pre-production release and post-production release; includes partnering with IT on managing and resolving defects.

Provides daily support to initiative lead as needed to support the project; includes, attending meetings, support documenting business requirements, reports, creating power point presentations, etc.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Creating test plans and executing testing in support of project work
• Execute against a strategic roadmap for the Digital Transformation team and coordinate with the various journey key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Digital leadership and journey stakeholders to analyze website usability, product performance and consumer behavior insights.
• Support data-driven digital initiatives that improve the customer experience and streamline operations. Ensure development of comprehensive, efficient, and effective solutions leveraging most effective digital touch points, to achieve business objectives.
• Use design thinking principles to help deliver tailored digital solutions that enable customer journey priorities.
• Assist in translating journey stakeholder goals and objectives into test plans to deliver actionable and measurable digital initiatives.
• Support and/or drive decisions to ensure the delivery of new digital initiatives align and support the Digital Transformation goals and objectives across all journeys.

What You Must Have:

3+ years related work experience. Experience Details: QA testing, business analysis, product development and/or project work experience

Related Bachelor's degree or additional related equivalent work experience

Experience in supporting initiative delivery in an agile environment

Experience creating test plans and executing testing in support of project work

Experience interfacing with an IT organization

Strong abilities in using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet and web-based tools. Ability to apply conceptual strategy, brainstorm facilitation, and day-to-day directing of projects through to completion.

Excellent oral and written communication skills; Can create interesting, cogent, and well-edited presentations and has experience delivering communications to internal and external stakeholders.

What We Would Prefer:• Understand or have experience in the Health Insurance industry, specifically knowledge of Health Care Reform regulations and CMS guidelines.• Knowledge of web development processes.• Experience with eCommerce and/or consumer engagement.

General Physical Demands

Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to move objects. Jobs are sedentary if traversing activities are required only occasionally.
