Education Recommendations
Currently a candidate for a Bachelor's degree or diploma in Digital Marketing, Digital Communication, Digital Strategy, Mass Communication or other related fields with an accredited school in US.
What you will learn and contribute to
We are seeking a Content and Communications expert who will take ownership of communications focused on external developer advocacy and internal program adoption. You will be responsible for crafting thoughtful, engaging content and any copy including images, videos, and animations for use in Nokia internal and external communications. You will work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where creativity, quality and results are expected.
In this role, you will work with the management and product teams to create professional and exciting content including written copy and visual aids that help developers understand our products and our vision.
As part of our team, you will:
- Administer the creation and publishing of relevant, original, high-quality content for both internal and public audiences
- Generate, edit, publish, and share daily content (original text, images, video, or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages our audience to take action
- Identify and improve organizational development aspects that would improve communications and results (i.e.: developer training, customer and partner challenges, etc.).
- Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules
- Collaborate with other departments (product teams, sales, etc.) to manage messaging needs and coordinate actions
- Help identify and create new content outside the norms of what we typically do at Nokia. Be a thought leader
What is Nokia looking for from me
You are:
- Proficient in communication with excellent writing, editing, collaboration, and communication skills
- Experience writing specifically for web, video, LinkedIn, social platforms, and collaborating with producers, art directors, UX and subject matter experts
- Ability to express ideas clearly and make technical content easy for non-technical audiences to understand
It would be nice if you also had:
- Ability to create and revise copy quickly, and to articulate the message to stakeholders
- Is media savvy and understands the latest digital media techniques
- Working Knowledge of modern content creation and publishing tools such as Canva, Photoshop, SharePoint, or Drupal
- Experience with managing content projects, reviewing your own work with others and communicating status proactively
- Must have creative and strong research skills including gathering and analyzing data from multiple sources to develop content
- Self-starter with a hands-on approach, a good sense of prioritization and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
