Job Description Summary:
Community Health Center, Inc. (CHC), with offices in Connecticut, Colorado and California, is one of the country's most creative and dynamic providers of primary medical, dental, and behavioral health services, and a leader in practice-based research, health professionals training, and use of innovative technologies to advance health and healthcare. CHC is designated as a federally qualified health center and a patient-centered medical home by HRSA, the Joint Commission, and NCQA, respectively. We deliver more than 600,000 patient visits per year from primary care hubs and community clinics across the state of CT, all connected by technology and common standards for quality. Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY

Strong communications generalist with experience developing and managing content for external audiences, including strategizing and posting content for social media, managing website content, and drafting and sending mass email communications.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Works closely with Digital Marketing Director to execute digital communications initiatives for CHC and its affiliates and programs

-Serves as lead on daily/weekly executive-level social media communications

-Assists with management of CHC's main social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok) and social media of affiliates and programs

-Supports creation, editing and distribution of external mass email communications for CHC and affiliates

-Manages daily content updates to CHC and affiliate websites, collaborates with Digital Marketing Director & external vendor on major web-based initiatives

-Supports internal communications activities, including posting to Sharepoint

-Other communications activities as assigned, including supporting online elements of in-person events

QUALIFICATIONS

-Strong attention to detail is imperative

-Strong written, oral and proofreading/editing skills

-3-5 years experience working in a communications or marketing capacity. Nonprofit experience preferred, health care experience a plus -

-Experience with social media management

-Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS

-Experience creating and sending mass email communications, including experience with list segmentation, A/B testing, analyzing performance preferred

-Experience with graphic design software (Photoshop, Illustrator) a plus

-Video and/or audio editing experience a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work may at times include outdoor events. Nights and weekend work may be required from time to time depending on event calendar. Remote work is allowed, though some in-office work will be required.
