Digital Communications Specialist
Job Description
Role
The Digital Communications Specialist is responsible for executing the day-to-day digital functions of AB's global Corporate Communications team-from AB's corporate social media channels and intranet to overseeing global digital signage and the curation and execution of AB's global newsletter. The role reports to the Head of Corporate Communications and works collaboratively with our global external and internal communications colleagues as well as with AB's Creative Services team, People team, and various firm stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Strategically and proactively manage social media campaigns and calendar
- Examine social media trends and identify and establish process enhancements to execute campaigns
- Implement consistent social media metrics and quarterly reporting
- Work closely with Creative Services on design requests, timelines, and deliverables pertaining to social media and other internal/external digital channels
- Monitor social media comments and escalate any reputational issues to Legal
- Update and maintain AB's intranet, The Loop, posting internal articles and general site review
- Support digital signage in offices across the globe, leading and uploading corporate campaigns
- Coordinate content for external website's News Center, collaborating with stakeholders across the firm
- Curate, draft, and deliver AB's monthly global newsletter "AB Connect" to promote firm news and culture
REQUIREMENTS
We're looking for a strategic, energetic, collaborative, self-starter with a love for all things communications. Specifically, we're looking for:
- Relevant experience managing social media campaigns from inception to delivery
- Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 3-5 years related experience
- Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills
- Superb writing skills-short and long form-and an eye for design
- Proven ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-based environment
- Ability to build partnerships both in-person and virtually
- Experience developing content for external and internal audiences
- Demonstrated ability to be a flexible, proactive, creative problem-solver and self-starter
- Ability to speak with courage and conviction and hold others to deadlines
- Affinity for corporate communications
- Ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues and subject matter experts in a matrixed environment
About The Team
Corporate Communications is a nimble, global team responsible for telling the story of AllianceBernstein: our business, our people, our culture, and our firm's accomplishments. Corporate Communications is responsible for all internal and external corporate messaging, including but not limited to: executive messaging, media strategy and public relations, employee intranet, digital signage, crisis communications, and reputation management.
The team also manages AB's corporate social media channels, overseeing strategy, content, creation, and execution of campaigns, in addition to oversight of AllianceBernstein.com's corporate content.
