Job Description

The Digital Content Creator is responsible for helping establish the overall voice and position of our brands. This position will assist with all advertising and marketing initiatives to ensure that they are in line with each brand's identity and messaging. The Digital Content Creator will work with all stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver a clear and consistent message throughout our brands, including working with the product team to establish branding strategies that improve the overall user experience. The overall objective is to attract and retain a growing user base and to bring value to our customers and stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

  • Create graphic and web design content using Adobe Creative Suite that is specific to mobile applications for use across media channels
  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of branding libraries and assets for WALT and its apps, including guidelines, vision, and voice for each of our products across all user touchpoints
  • Work with product teams to maintain app personas throughout in-app copy, customer service, content, and engagement tools
  • Execute product messaging and positioning thereby differentiating our products in the market
  • Post and manage content on social media and online channels
  • Assist with the execution of targeted marketing campaigns, including demographic research and content creation, to drive user engagement and growth across all online user-touchpoints
  • Maintain compliance records for all content/published materials per bank processes
  • Create promotional collateral to maintain our brands and grow our user base; design and maintain visual content for multiple social media platforms, websites, newsletters, app storefronts, promotional products, and more in collaboration with the Growth Lead
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, data, external creative agencies, user testing, user experience, and more to develop new product features and ensure effective go to market strategies
  • Research latest marketing trends and best practices to continually improve the effectiveness of our marketing efforts, and informing management of changes that are relevant to company's marketing activities
  • Perform ongoing market/product research and competitive analysis
  • Conduct other assignments which assist in carrying out the mission of the team

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Understanding of marketing best practices and principles
  • Strong and creative communication skills
  • Analytical thinker with ability to employ data driven decision making
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, team-based Agile environment
  • Proficiency in social media management and content creation tools

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in a Business, Advertising, Marketing, or related field

    OR
  • 2+ years of professional experience in graphic content creation or product marketing

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in market analysis
  • Working knowledge of web analytics tools (Google Analytics, AppsFlyer, etc)
  • Usability and customer-focused design experience
  • Understands animation, video production, design software, and the overall creative process
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
