The Front-End Web Content Developer will be responsible for designing, testing, deploying, and maintaining new and existing frontend features, components, and architectures on our DTC and B2B web applications. These websites are visited by millions of consumers each year and utilized by some of the most prominent corporations across the country for a best-in-class beverage and coffee maker purchasing experience. You will work closely with other developers, designers, application engineers and QA to deliver high quality solutions that meet our consumers' needs.This pivotal role requires an innovative approach to design, backed by strong coding and proofing skills, to help drive the face of the Keurig® brand to our consumers.
Additional requirements include building and maintaining our broad beverage and coffee maker product portfolio and working with our technology partners to develop innovative solutions and processes in order to simplify the consumer journey and to create efficiencies on the back-end. The ideal candidate for this position will have a solid understanding of DTC onsite promotional and merchandising tactics.
Scope of Role:
- Develop, and proof and deploy the code to execute high quality onsite content for Keurig.com and Commercial. Keurig.com
- Collaborate with Design team to build responsive layouts for multiple devices
- Partner with Merchandising team to execute best practices in URL tagging to be leveraged for analytical insights
- Own the end-to-End end product setup configuration process for Keurig.com, from including SKU setup and integration of imagery and media
- Lead the continuous process improvements of our content development lifecycle and processes including build content in lower environments, test new features, and identify bugs, test, deploy, QA and maintenance
- Support critical system upgrades and releases as needed
- 3+ years of hands-on front end digital web development
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent experience preferred
- Experience working with CMS (ie Contentful, Smart Edit)
- Proficiency in website programming languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Understanding of key website design principles, functionality, and accessibility implications
- Working knowledge of product databases and their architecture
- Working knowledge of Invision collaboration platform
- Experience with design tools (Photoshop, Sketch/Invision, image optimization)
- Knowledge of ADA Compliance regulations and best practices
- Knowledge of React.js, API and XML technologies
- Critical eye for detail, and ability to proof and pressure test outcomes
- Collaborate cross-functionally and receive and action project feedback
- Work as a key contributor on multiple time-sensitive projects
- Eager to learn, explore, and share what you have learned with others
- Strong UX and design sensibilities, and a desire to sweat the small stuff
- Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and empathy
- Self-awareness and a desire to continually improve
