Summary

The Digital Content Manager role offers an exciting opportunity to create digital content for New Visions’ social media platforms and email marketing campaigns. The role will also support in the website relaunch process and take ownership of the website post-launch and coordinate website development initiatives in partnership with internal stakeholders. This role requires a strategic mindset, excellent project management skills, and a creative eye for showcasing New Visions’ brand on all external-facing channels.

As the primary point person for digital content, you will be responsible for the creation, curation, and assessment of digital content used for brand awareness and other marketing and communications initiatives. This requires an understanding of New Visions’ brand in order to set the right tone and reach the right audience base. The role benefits from a blend of creativity and management skills to devise strategies, manage projects, and work with the team. 

Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Communications, you will work closely with the team to align digital content strategies with broader marketing and communication goals. Strong collaboration and communication skills will be essential as you interact with multiple program teams and stakeholders throughout the organization.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Maintain a digital content calendar that schedules all aspects of the creation and delivery of content throughout the year for all New Visions’ departments
  • Support the Director of Marketing & Communications in the website redesign project, including managing vendor and New Visions needs and monitoring project process
  • Create and oversee a social media strategy for New Visions overall and other departments, as needed
  • Liaise with other departments to write and build email marketing campaigns (Constant Contact experience preferred)
  • Post website launch, manage website updates to support stakeholder requests and organizational priorities
  • Recommend, develop, and implement improvements to websites
  • Manage Google Analytics and make recommendations based on data
  • Act as liaison for the organization’s Intranet which will include section updates and planning, as well as content creation with an eye focused on employee engagement

Required Education and Experience:

  • 5+ years of relevant digital content creation experience - specifically in social media, digital advertising, and email marketing
  • Experience managing complex website redesign projects
  • Experience maintaining websites and building new content
  • Relevant Bachelor’s Degree and/or certifications preferred

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong project management, including ability to take ownership of tasks and drive to completion
  • Experience using social media scheduling platforms
  • Experience in email marketing platforms, specifically Constant Contact
  • Experience utilizing content management systems, specifically WordPress, to manage complex company websites
  • Understanding of UX/UI design, digital design languages, digital ADA compliance, and other mandatory website regulations
  • Prior experience implementing Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and other website enhancement tactics
  • Focus on reporting and data analytics to drive optimal website experience
  • Ability to build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders to drive productive content creation and management
  • Strong written communication and content editing skills

Salary Information
While the majority of new hires’ starting salaries shall be expected to be placed in the first half of the range(s) to allow space to grow in the job, for those who already have significant relevant experience at that level of the job, placement at the higher end of the range(s) is possible.
Pay Range
$74,481$111,722 USD
