Job Description

To that end, we are hiring a Digital Design Sales Specialist for North America to ensure we are making our customers' lives productive, easier, and successful.
This position will be responsible for selling Rockwell Automation's Emulate3D digital twin software, as well as other software within Factory Talk Twin Studio. Activities will include qualifying, discovery, diagnosing customer needs, recommending appropriate solutions, and creating proposals. This position will work directly with prospects and customers, and as an overlay to existing Rockwell automation sales channels to support the sale of Rockwell automation's digital design software. They will also be responsible for supporting activities such as trade shows and industry events. Some account management responsibilities will also be included. This position will focus on new license sales with new logos and the growth of revenue within the assigned product lines.

What You Will Do
- Understand. Become the expert our customers need. Understand the unique business requirements of customers within multiple industries and translate those needs into a compelling vision for our customers.
- Advise. Advise our customers on the benefits of Rockwell Automation's Digital Design tools. That means attention to detail - Listening is key to understanding their processes, business drivers and organization model so you can offer application knowledge, industry expertise and guidance on their strategic initiatives
- Influence. You will qualify customer opportunities, engage internal resources, and coordinate the solution design and presentation so the customer chooses our solution for all the right reasons.
- Collaborate. We expect you to understand technical concepts and leverage various Digital Design team members to plan for and win opportunities
- Strategize. Coordinate with a wide range of internal resources to strategize, plan, and execute sales efforts that grow Rockwell Automation's digital design business in North America.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of relevant equivalent experience in lieu of a degree
- Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
Preferred Qualifications
- Typically requires 5+ years of direct sales software experience
- Proven ability to meet and exceed software sales quotas
- Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering discipline or other related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Additional business-related degree/experience preferred.
- Prior experience in technical sales, industrial automation, manufacturing, systems integration, or industrial engineering firm
- Prior experience with emulation and simulation software.
- Experienced at calling on both technical and C-level managers to develop rapport and strong relationships
- Experience working with all levels of an industrial automation plant (customer) including VPs, plant engineers and end users
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
- Technical aptitude appropriate for a software sales environment, including the ability to learn and demonstrate Emulate3D digital twin software to current and future Rockwell Automation customers
- Ability to travel 20% of time.
