Digital Designer
Job Description
We have an immediate opening for a Digital Designerto join our Marketing team!
Major Responsibilities:
Play a major role in creative/design kickoff and review meetings by being a problem solver and recommending design treatments. Will partner with Sr. Designer and Sr. Director, Brand and Creative present creative designs based on strategic direction provided in creative briefs and kickoff meetings.
Responsible for digital layout and production (but not limited to): social ads (paid & organic), display ads, email, web pages, other related materials that sell our products/services and strengthen brand identity.
Design digital ads with the following disciplines: static, video, animated GIFs.
Design and build HTML emails for marketing campaigns.
Assist in other creative projects on an as-needed basis (i.e., internal presentations, pitch decks, etc.).
Ensure our brand guidelines are being represented correctly and consistently through all creative/design work. Keep digital files for the design team organized and cleaned up on an ongoing basis within our dropbox account.
Attend weekly creative meetings and track all projects in Monday.com to keep the team updated on all project status.
Ensure deadlines for creative materials are met consistently. Proactively communicate with Project Managers to eliminate surprises and set expectations for all creative/design work.
Act as a key leader for brand identity standards & guidelines by ensuring our brands are being represented correctly and consistently through all creative/design work. Proactively develop creative skills through ongoing education of technology, trends and new processes.
Proactively develop professional relationships with internal team members as well as external partners and agencies.
Responsible for creating and supporting a positive, professional, team-oriented, harassment-free work environment by understanding and complying with the Company's policies, by demonstrating the Company's values, and being a role model for the Company Brand.
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design/Arts and/or Fine Arts preferred or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 4+ year's job-related experience (post-education) on a graphics design team inside a marketing department or agency.
- Must be an expert in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, InDesign, Acrobat).
- Proficient in HTML & CSS
- Digital expert with deep understanding of specs, aspect ratios, static/motion/video formats and industry best practices.
- Understanding of lead generation software (Braze, Salesforce, etc.).
- Complete knowledge of photo editing, color calibration and color capabilities.
- Strong understanding of photography including composition, retouching and exposure.
- Microsoft Office experience helpful for internal presentations (i.e., PowerPoint & Word).
