King's Hawaiian is looking for a digital designer who is passionate about digital marketing and brand design to join their growing internal creative team. This designer will be responsible for developing effective, on-brand, and on-strategy creative for websites, web pages, animations, email promotional creative, social media graphics, and banner ads. This designer will be working closely with the Creative Manager and various Brand Managers to drive the growth of the digital, innovation, and social aspects of the business.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Concept and implement creative for digital brand campaigns and new product launches, including email, social, and web assets (landing pages, banners, graphics, and resizing assets).
• Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure that all designs align with the brand standards, while also meeting usability and website standards.
• Lead creative development and concepting for monthly email campaigns.
• Develop brand content for the organic social media team, including but not limited to animation and video content.
• Develop engaging and on-brand digital ads.
• Lead internal video editing and production.
• Assist in implementing visuals for internal communications.
• Manage digital and creative assets within King's Hawaiian's DAM.

BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE)

• 5 -7 years of professional digital design experience .
• Strong portfolio of digital design work, showing solutions to business problems through effective design.
• Fluency in Adobe CS as well as Microsoft PPT, Word, and Asana.
• Proficiency in video editing using After Effects.
• Familiarity with UI/UX design principles .
• Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, advertisements, and multimedia design.
• Experience within an advertising or digital agency.
• Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to clearly present design ideas and concepts for campaigns and projects.
• Understanding of social media and other digital social platforms.
• Adept at thriving in a dynamic work environment.
• Strong work ethic and personal accountability.
• Bachelor's degree in digital design, graphic design, or graphic communication.
• Ability to activate and amplify aloha via King's values of excellence, dignity, saying it like it is in a way it can be heard; and curiosity, collaboration, critical thinking, and emotional intelligence.

We operate in a hybrid environment - we are in the office Monday through Wednesday and remote on Thursday and Friday.
The compensation range for this role is $110,000 - $115,000 plus bonus and based on individual experience and potential contribution to the role.
