Job Description

Job Summary

The Digital Designer II is responsible for design production of email templates, online (intranet) banners, social media graphics, screen graphics, website adjustments. Under the direction of the Creative Director, the Digital Designer works as part of an in-house marketing team to achieve the Exeter brand objectives through effective message strategies. Using proven talent and consistent conceptual thinking, the designer must communicate the Exeter brand message in a uniquely fresh, memorable and persuasive way. This position requires a highly motivated individual that possess strong technical knowledge, design/production experience, flexibility and a compelling portfolio.

Essential Functions

Create, design and/or execute content for all digital channels for marketing communication: email flyers/templates, internal/external social media assets, HTML code development, and video production/editing.

HTML/CSS coding for marketing email templates and website maintenance/edits.

Coding for custom email templates, internal/external web sites, internal and external communication channels

Creating HTML versions of sales marketing collateral

Create, design and manage our in-house digital screens at our new corporate office

Produce screen graphics to promote internal campaigns, messages and announcements

Produce screen graphics to promote industry knowledge product

Video production and editing

Production of video compilations and edits

Editing to existing videos when needed

Video production and editing

Production of video compilations and edits

Editing to existing videos when needed

Special projects as needed

Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in a related field (Digital media, Interactive media, New media design, Graphic Design, Communications design, etc.) preferred, or equivalent work experience.

2+ years of relevant work experience

Equivalent or more Adobe Creative Cloud technical knowledge - especially for digital content production, but also for print. This includes: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Premiere, After Effects, and Indesign.

Current HTML/CSS knowledge for email and web

Video production/editing knowledge (Adobe Premiere/After Effects)

Solid understanding of the social channel design and production, as it pertains to marketing

Versatility in producing content for a variety digital channels, and a variety of audiences.

Excellent collaboration and presentation skills and provide a high-level of customer service.

Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Able to work under pressure on multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and changing priorities.

"Go-getter" mentality - initiative to be a self-starter, a high level of determination and a hunger for success.

Resourceful problem solver with ability to formulate and execute plans efficiently and effectively.

Strong portfolio is a must.

Preferred - agency/creative studio experience, but not necessary.

Preferred - finance industry experience, but not necessary.
