Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a digital services project manager for the Digital EHS (Environmental, Health and Safety) practice. The position is primarily responsible for managing small to medium sized IT and EMIS projects which can include systems strategy analysis, selection, implementation, and support. Additionally, the project manager role assists our sales and capture team with identifying and pre-positioning for project opportunities as well as supporting proposal writing and capture activities. This position is ideal for experienced applicants with a background in client facing service delivery, IT project management and EHS consulting. Responsibilities will include:
  • Manage small to medium Digital EHS projects of varying complexity including working with clients, their IT organizations and their operational leadership.
  • Consult with clients to assess current Digital EHS solutions and provide recommendations for improved performance, efficiency, decision support, and reduced risk.
  • Lead technical teams responsible for design, development, implementation, testing and delivery of Digital EHS systems.
  • Proficient with configuration across multiple modules of one solution and/or multiple vendor product suites (including Enablon, Cority, Intelex, Sphera, EtQ, and similar.)
  • Coordinate requirements gathering and develop project plans.
  • Develop and manage project schedule, budget, and risk registry.
  • Solve technical and/or complex problems on multiple projects while providing leadership support.
  • Assist and coordinate technical staff with project activities and deliverables.
  • Serve as a Digital EHS subject matter expert within the organization.
  • Lead proposal writing efforts.

Minimum Requirements
  • BS/BA with 6+ years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • Experience with Digital EHS software application deployment such as Enablon, Intelex, Cority, Sphera, EtQ, etc.
  • US Citizenship Required.
  • Relocation support is not available for this position.
  • Position is open for Telecommute.
  • Ability to travel to client meetings when needed (up to 15% of the time).
Preferred Qualifications
  • BS degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
  • Business analyst experience and/or certification
  • Track record demonstrating Digital EHS project management experience
  • Business development and client care experience
  • Knowledge of software implementation life cycle and agile and waterfall methodologies
  • Experience with MS SharePoint, MS Visio, and MS Projects
  • Project management certification (PMP or similar)

Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act requires employers to provide the following compensation and benefits information for positions that may be performed in Colorado:

Offered rate of compensation (Colorado locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. (For executive level positions: Bonus opportunities are tied to both company and individual performance and vary from year-to-year.) The salary range for this position is: $92,000 - $155,000.
