Digital Engineering Transformation and Training Systems Engineer-Mid

Strategic ACI is seeking a Mid Systems Engineer to provide Digital Engineering Guidance, Development, and Implementation, and Coordination to the Transformation and Training team in support to the execution of Digital Engineering and analysis activities to the US Space Industry Prime Partner selected by and accountable to the Intelligence Community Systems Engineering Directorate (SED), under the Technical Services Contract for the Intelligence Community-wide DE/DEE End-to-End Transformation across SED and associated Intelligence Community Departments and Offices (D&O).

Responsibilities:

• Consolidate capability needs, requirements, and identified gaps related to Digital Engineering (DE) tools and propose approaches that address these needs, requirements, and gaps
• Work with stakeholders to onboard proposed tools and software and update any associated standards and guidance, upon government approval.
• Propose and maintain a catalog of DE tools and software
• Develop and implement processes to facilitate and route requests from the government and other stakeholders, including tool and software access, permissions, and updates
• Ensure that data within tools, models, and databases are properly managed, made accessible, and structured appropriately to support the standardized development of visualizations/dashboards and enable any relevant systems engineering or analytical processes
• Implement industry best practices and develop new processes as required to ensure data and information interoperability between descriptive and analytical models, tools, and software
• Collaborate with other contractors to develop scripts and application programming interfaces (APIs) for tools and software to enable systems engineering and analysis processes
• Lead, collaborate with, and/or coordinate as-needed across internal and external organizational interfaces internal and external Partners/Stakeholders under various teaming formats e.g. working groups (WG), steering groups, Integrated Product Teams (IPT) etc. in response to and/or support of cross-Enterprise DE-related Initiatives to solicit, establish, negotiate, and/or communicate SE/DE guidance e.g. standardized processes, tools, techniques etc

Qualifications:

Required:

• Active TS/SCI w/CI Poly
• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics
• Active TS/SCI w/ CI Poly
• OMG-Certified Systems Modeling Professional 1.2 (OCSMP 1.2) Certification
• 7 + Years of experience in Systems Engineering
• 7 + years hands-on exposure to and working experience associated with space- or ground-based SoS technical baseline, hierarchical requirements, verification and/or validation (V&V) planning and execution, and end-to-end development execution
• Working knowledge and appreciation of complex dependencies, interactions, and integration of systems-of-system elements i.e. hardware and software constituent modeling, verification, and validation
• Strong interpersonal and team-building skills, as well as clear and concise written, verbal communications and presentation skills

Desired:

• Knowledgeable in detail designs of satellite systems, ground-based mission systems or mission operations
• Demonstrated hands-on experience in cross-functional planning, coordination, and task execution across the spectrum of systems engineering and integration activities
