Global Business Development Organization (GBDO) Overview

The GBDO has a presence in the Americas, Europe, Asia and Australia, and is composed of four main areas:

  • Sales & Client Services works with financial intermediaries and institutions to offer diversified investment solutions that help clients build and preserve their wealth
  • Business Development is a conduit to the firm's investment teams and supports our clients and internal business partners through investment-platform and product content, messaging, competitive analysis and education
  • Product Strategy & Development designs, develops and manages the firm's global lineup of investment services and considers clients' evolving needs to identify new opportunities
  • Marketing promotes the firm and its services by creating, packaging and distributing content and messaging to engage diverse audiences through digital platforms and initiatives, strategic campaigns, and events

What You'll Do:

We are looking for a Digital Experience Lead for the Americas within our Digital Product and Program Management team. The team has responsibility over the Product Management of our Marketing Technology Stack, gathering requirements for digital enhancements and ensuring the timely delivery of our global marketing digital efforts. The candidate's primary responsibility will be to partner with the Americas Marketing team on the digital implementation of their marketing roadmap. Spanning from site enhancements, multi-channel campaign execution, new fund launches, data enhancements to the site and technology stack maturity- it will be critical that they build strong relationships with: Digital Development, Product Owners, Email Automation teams, IT and Global Brand. As the Product Owner for the Americas, you will lead the implementation of the Americas digital strategy through Discovery, Planning, Delivery and Stakeholder Engagement. You will need to have a technical mindset, understanding how the marketing technology stack can work better for our Americas Marketing Team. Having the ability to see a broader vision for digital in Americas marketing, but be detail oriented in the delivery and execution of the roadmap.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Help to identify opportunities for the Americas Digital Roadmap. Deliver against this roadmap and report back to Senior Leadership and the Americas Marketing Team on progress.
  • Partner back with the various Marketing Technology Product Owners to ensure individual product strategies are aligned with the regional digital marketing objectives.
  • Be responsible for all projects within the strategic roadmap, for their entire lifecycle- analysis and requirements gathering, development, and post launch. Analyzing performance and planning iterations.
  • Identify challenges the team might be having, analyze the existing market landscape and identify opportunities and generate ideas for improvements or new opportunities to meet user needs
  • Take ownership of roadmaps, working closely with delivery teams. Use product briefs and iterated delivery plans to assign priorities and make informed decisions.
  • Understanding of a multi-channel marketing campaign and what's needed for successful execution, measurement and follow up
  • Bring together views and input from a wide range of contributors, such as senior stakeholders, developers, and user researchers. Share the vision for the product and solve problems during the build and promote collaboration.
  • Engage in discussions with key stakeholders to ensure the right priorities are being addressed and if new initiatives are being discussed; constantly checking in and adjusting the product roadmap accordingly
  • Be actively involved across partner and user communities to promote the department's principles and foster a collaborative approach to solution delivery and engagement.
  • Build in feedback loops from the beginning of the project to inform prioritization and iterations. Decisions should be based on data, for example user metrics, and an understanding of the data and evidence available should be used to communicate those decisions.
  • Gather and communicate user needs based on an understanding of diverse audience groups.
  • Promote adoption of new features or initiatives through internal comms, follow ups and training
  • Help to identify and segment customer sectors to understand their different needs so that communications can be targeted appropriately.

What We're Looking For:

  • A balance between forward thinking and detail oriented- moving the firm forward, but still delivering on the immediate needs of the team
  • 10-15 years' experience in digital marketing platforms
  • Ability to lead, manage and grow a team to support these initiatives
  • Understanding of fund data; flow of data from back-end systems to client facing platforms (website, reports)
  • Being adept at synthesizing data to arrive at a compelling conclusion/tell a story
  • Outgoing personality, collaborative and open to other viewpoints
  • Demonstrating agility and innovation when faced with complexity and/or adversity
  • Experience with Adobe Digital Marketing Platform a plus
  • Experience with website analysis using a variety of analytics tools including Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics as well as internal reporting tools.
  • Strong project management and analytical problem-solving skills; Risk Management
  • Be comfortable with IT tools and management of project through Agile/Waterfall methodologies.
