This Digital Experience Manager - eCommerce is responsible for developing, managing, and executing consumer engagement digital experiences for Hill's Pet Nutrition's Direct to Consumer (DTC) sites. In partnership with the Sr Ecommerce Manager-Direct to Consumer, the role will oversee the Pet Parent consumer experience, vendor management, consumer data optimization and business growth across multiple direct to consumer websites.

What You Will Do:

Strategic Planning and Vision (20%)

  • Be the voice of the Pet Parent, articulate the engagement business strategy and guide digital initiatives to maximize growth.
  • Ownership of overall consumer personalization, experience and identification of consumer engagement touchpoints across the Hill's DTC ecosystem.
  • Manage various consumer facing technology strategies including but not limited to: Pet Profile, SMS, Loyalty, Autoship/Subscriptions.
  • Provide digital initiative business leadership to support the digital product planning prioritization process.
  • Create business input into requirements to ensure efficiency and quality of implementation for new web experiences.
  • Partner with the Brand Marketing and Hillspet.com teams to ensure cohesive messaging across Hill's eCommerce digital properties.

Innovation & Results (20%)

  • Responsible for identifying solutions and achieving successful results via our direct to consumer owned properties, focusing on revenue growth.
  • Communicate clearly and deliver innovative results in a timely, self-driven manner under established deadlines.
  • Actively participates in the UX (user experience) research initiatives, such as usability studies, consumer persona research, etc.

Ecommerce Tactical Execution (25%)

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to keep consumer pet parent content updated and merchandised with latest learnings and trends.
  • Manage promotion strategy in conjunction with finance, accounting, supply chain and I.T. team.
  • Assist in launching new digital properties working with Shopify Plus as our ecommerce partner.

Operational Excellence (20%)

  • Partner with key cross-functional stakeholders to ensure projects are launched on-time and on-budget.
  • Work closely with the Hill's Customer Service team to ensure that the platform enables them to efficiently deliver outstanding service and partner on service-related end user communication as needed.
  • Work closely with the supply chain team to ensure adequate inventory levels and accurate shipping estimates.

Analytics & Insights Generation (15%)

  • Analyze consumer data to generate insights that will serve the Hill's business beyond Direct to Consumer platforms, helping to improve our consumer experience.
  • Leverage Google Analytics and identify additional analytics opportunities to improve insight generation.

Required Qualifications

  • BS/BA with 5+ years of experience in Direct to Consumer strategy/product with e-commerce work experience
  • At least 3 years of digital vendor management experience
  • Preferred qualifications include: MBA, experience working closely with development teams in an agile methodology, experience with eCommerce platforms
  • Preferred CPG and/or Retail eCommerce experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to work effectively across functions, channels, and categories to align priorities, solve problems, optimize resources, and drive effective execution
  • Experience with Shopify Plus enterprise ecommerce platform
  • Able to manage multiple projects, balancing many deliverables and timelines with an understanding of their relative priorities
  • Management of multiple external marketing and technology agencies
  • Capable of understanding technical complexity
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong decision-making skills and an understanding of where projects fit into overall Company and category strategies
  • Interpersonal savvy; an ability to effectively work with and connect with all levels throughout the organization internally and build partnerships externally
  • Understanding of UX / CX principles
  • Experience with Analytics tools (i.e. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics or similar) and CRM technologies
  • Intermediate level (or greater) Excel / Sheets (including comfort with pivot tables & VLOOKUPs) & Google slides (slide design principles, animations)

Salary Range $88,800 - $131,250 USD

Pay is based on several non discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, education, skills and office location. In addition to your salary, Colgate-Palmolive offers a performance based bonus and competitive benefits package.
