Digital Experience Sr Engineer in GAC Savannah

1. Strong knowledge of Digital Experience Monitoring tools such as SysTrack, ControlUp, Nexthink, Catchpoint, etc
2. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with a data intensive, distributed application suite running in front of a SQL backend database

Other Requirements:

1. Lakeside SysTrack certifications (Technician, Engineer, and Dashboard Builder) preferred.
2. Professional certifications in technology like Microsoft, VMware and Citrix such as MCP, Modern Desktop Management, VCA, VCP, CCA or CCP is required.
3. Thorough understanding of hands-on support of hardware, software, network, and OS layer of a Microsoft Windows environment, both physical and virtual, in a large enterprise environment.
4. Complex scripting methods to create automation processes using PowerShell, Python, Batch, Bash, etc.
5. Ability to learn new complex tools, methods and processes quickly to become a subject matter expert.
6. An in-depth understanding of relational databases, SQL query language and scripting, Microsoft SQL Server, and other related Microsoft Business Intelligence technologies (Reporting Services, Integration Services, Analysis Services).
7. Knowledge of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure initiatives and underlying technology.
8. A working knowledge of networking and Terminal Server technology is required.

Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent experience. required. 5 years of relevant work experience at least (level 3 or 4 support, systems engineer, enterprise level administration, etc.) or equivalent Certifications.

Position Purpose:

Digital Experience Engineering requires extensive experience in complex problem solving using a complex set of tools, deep technical ability, desktop support and engineering experience, as well as virtualization and scripting experience.

Job Description

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:

1. Act as the frontline technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the digital experience monitoring solutions.
2. Facilitate/escalate technical customer support, problem resolution assistance and use-case generation around the digital experience monitoring solutions
3. Work directly with the IT internal teams to resolve issues and develop and maintain excellent customer relationships
4. Evaluate and recommend digital experience monitoring solutions to meet the needs of the customers and will complement the environment.
5. Remain current on state-of-the-art technologies and understand competitive landscape and viable alternatives
6. Work with other operational specialists to understand how tools are being utilized and where deficiencies or opportunities exist
7. Act as the single point of contact between technical, business, and operational teams.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.
