As Head of UI/UX for our Digital Health organization you and your team will define early concepts, articulate end-to end- experiences, and craft elegant design solutions across a range of Vision Care, Surgical and Customer Service products at a global scale. Although this can be a remote position, you must be available to travel to Fort Worth, TX as needed. In this role, a typical day might include:

• Leading, hiring and developing a high-performing team of UI/UX designers and researchers
• Advocating for great design practice and adopting new technology
• Championing customer-centric solutions
• Transforming data about user behavior into actionable product and design outcomes
• Working with the design and development teams to create new content and features that drive customer and patient engagement

What You'll Bring to Alcon:

• Bachelor's Degree(Required)
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English(Required)
• 12 Years of Relevant Experience(Required)
• 8 Years of Demonstrated Leadership(Required)
• 8+ years of experience designing complex consumer-facing digital products, mobile, and web experiences
• 5+ years of experience leading design teams as a UX, product, or interaction design manager
• Experience leading user testing and familiarity with various testing mechanisms/approaches
• Demonstrated ability to deliver large-scale strategic design initiatives with a bias toward scalable systems and patterns
• Ability to work successfully with teams across the organization, including Engineering, Product Management, and Senior Leadership
• Experience presenting to and influencing senior management
