THE ROLE: Digital Imaging Specialist

We are looking for a full-time Digital Imaging Specialist for our Kentucky Imaging Studio. This role will assist in editing imagery in accordance with our established guidelines for quality and style to maintain the consistent appearance of both the Rue La La and Gilt sites. Rue Gilt Groupe is an innovative, passionate, and collaborative work environment where you'll have the chance to work with the best brands and teams in e-commerce!

This role will work on-site at our Studio in Shepherdsville, KY from 8am-4pm Monday through Friday. 

What You'll Do:

• Maintain an established file organization scheme
• Learn new processes and work through them quickly while maintaining a quality workflow
• Handle a high volume of image retouching
• Work in a Mac environment
• General retouch of product and model images (remove dust/scratches, props, wrinkles, etc.)
• Use of scripts, actions and other automation. 
• Learn RGG standards in order to maintain consistency across our sites..
• Management of file movement and proper storage of final images.
• Triage and resolve image edit request tickets 
• Partner with Operations, Styling, Photography, Features, and cross-functional production teams on image-related issues and projects

• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop:
  • Image manipulation using adjustment layers with layer masks
  • Image retouching using Healing Brush and Clone Stamp tools
  • Using Actions, Batches and Scripts to automate Photoshop
  • Memorization and use of keyboard shortcuts
• Posses strong visual awareness
• Effective and responsive communication skills
• Knowledge of Capture One is a bonus
