Description
The Digital Literacy and Adoption Analyst, Sr creates roadmaps and strategies for the Digital Literacy team. They develop communication plans to promote technologies employing creative approaches to reach underserved groups. They lead Digital Literacy projects and communication campaigns and define/track metrics to continually improve the efficacy of promotional events.
The analyst also sources and creates content to support end user technology adoption including, but not limited to email broadcasts, periodic news articles, reference materials, websites and videos. They work directly with peer Technology Organization teams to understand emerging technology and convey technical information in consumable formats to the enterprise. They must employ considerable creativity to create engaging content while adhering to corporate branding standards. The analyst arranges/hosts in-person/on-line Digital Literacy events, leads meetings to collect content from Technology Organization teams and meets with business teams to survey training needs. Work is performed without appreciable direction.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in related field highly desirable
- 1-2 years of experience in website design with demonstrated proficiency
- 1-2 years of experience writing technical articles for a non-technical audience
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills including public speaking ability
- Experience developing communication plans, roadmaps and strategies
- Experience leading projects and communication campaigns
- Proficiency in constructing clear PowerPoint presentations
- Ability to define/track success metrics for Digital Literacy efforts and modify future efforts to continually improve
- Ability to arrange/lead large group sessions
- Ability to build consensus and achieve results through the effective use of persuasive communication and formal presentation skills
- Ability to assess end-user technology products and construct meaningful and concise education material and instruction
- Ability to establish and maintain peer and customer relationships across organizational lines
- Ability to communicate ideas in both a technical and user-friendly language
- Ability to facilitate and manage data inputs and changes across multiple organizations
- Maintains a customer-focused mindset and strives to exceed customer expectations
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for self and others
- Create periodic articles for internal technology website such as educational guides, information on new releases and technology success stories
- Manage website content and host committee meetings to gather article information from across the Technology Organization
- Maintain, monitor and upgrade the organization's website
- Conduct content audits to eliminate redundant and/or duplicate information
- Suggest and implement continual improvements to website with a focus on user experience
- Ensure website quality and efficiency by conducting regular test plans
- Collaborate with communications team and management to ensure that the website aligns with brand strategy and meets the organization's standards
- Create customized graphics for Digital Literacy presentations and promotions
- Create training materials on featured technologies for broad, non-technical audiences
- Create content for Digital Literacy Yammer communities
- Host educational sessions promoting the use of featured technologies
- Assist the Digital Literacy analyst, Sr with capturing metrics
- Create strategies to grow website usage and web traffic metrics
- Keep up to date with industry best practices and trends
