Job Summary

The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for leading all day-to-day operations related to identifying, attracting, and nurturing qualified prospective guests for The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection. This role will develop and execute a strategy across paid channels (search, social, display, and streaming), email marketing (strategy and production), and SEO to captivate prospective guests and nurture their interest through the establishment of an initial relationship with the brand. Further, they will utilize CRM and analytics systems to both optimize programs and share data-supported reports of their successes. The Digital Marketing Manager will work in conjunction with the digital marketing relationship team and outside partners to support our social media and email programs, identifying relevant segments and implementing appropriate messaging strategy. This position will also participate in annual budgeting exercises and be responsible for adhering to the budget, recalibrating as necessary to optimize with available data.

Essential Functions

  • Own and develop all paid media opportunities to achieve digital marketing KPIs within budget across partner email, display, paid social and other channels
  • Create and adhere to annual budgets, recalibrate established budgets to optimize against performance data
  • Manage day-to-day SEM strategy and execution
  • Analyze and evaluate end-to-end lead generation and conversion processes using tools such as Google Analytics and Tableau
  • Report on activities across SEM, SEO, display, paid media, and other prospecting campaigns
  • Support the company's CRM database growth and development
  • Identify relevant segments and messaging strategies among the prospective guest universe, lead the creation of subsequent automated marketing journeys in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Identify and prioritize website optimization efforts such as landing page optimizations alongside digital product and IT teams
  • Engage digital product marketing and external resources to ensure successful SEO strategy
  • Identify target markets, including geographic and demographic, and appropriate strategies
  • Conduct competitive analysis and monitor industry trends, identifying relevant learnings
  • Work with digital relationship team to ensure social media and email programs meet prospective guest nurturing objectives
  • Ensure RCYC brand is communicated appropriately and consistently in all digital marketing channels
  • Update/maintain Project Plan for relevant marketing initiatives and deadlines
  • Respond to ad hoc requests from the sales and marketing teams, as well as the executive leadership team and/or other partners as required
  • Develop creative briefs for internal and external teams to maintain consistent, effective digital marketing collateral

Competency

Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field preferred

Experience:

  • At least 5 years' experience in digital marketing, travel/hospitality industry preferred

Skills:

  • Digital marketing experience, particularly with SEO, SEM and display
  • Outspoken advocate of prospective guests' digital experience interests
  • Experience identifying and messaging to CRM segments
  • Understanding of marketing automation platform capabilities
  • Strong knowledge of dynamic email marketing
  • Experience with Google Analytics
  • Experience and understanding of social media best practices
  • Strong writing and grammar skills, proofreading abilities, and copywriting abilities
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
  • Self-starter, able to function with little supervision, high-energy
  • Detail and deadline oriented
  • Team player
  • Strong management skills, particularly with outside contractor and agency resources
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment where strategic brand-building efforts are a priority - start-up experience a plus.

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience a plus

Work Environment

This is a hybrid position, working at least 2 days a week from our Fort Lauderdale office. The office environment is typical, with quiet-to-moderate noise generated by computer printer, fax machine and light traffic. Occasional overnight travel may be required.

Physical Demands

Requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, and reaching. May require lifting or pushing up to 25 pounds. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office machines such as computers, fax machines, calculators, the telephone, and other office equipment.

Expected Hours of Work

The position is fulltime and frequently requires working additional time outside of normal business hours.
