BlueSnap is seeking a data-driven, creative individual to contribute to strategy development, implement and analyze digital marketing tactics and best practices to increase brand awareness, engage target customers and drive increased lead generation. You’ll bring a passion for solving problems, testing and finding insights buried in data – and then be eager to roll up your sleeves and implement what you’ve learned.Â
The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for day-to-day operations, analysis and optimization of SEO/SEM, BlueSnap’s website and a portfolio of paid advertising campaigns, including both hands-on campaign management and agency management. This role provides direction on campaign design and tracks performance to ensure campaigns are optimized to achieve pipeline and acquisition goals while also identifying new opportunities to engage our target customer.Â
This position will be based in Waltham, MA with the opportunity to work a hybrid schedule.
Responsibilities:Â
Manage day-to-day online advertising:Â campaigns, budgets, testing, landing pages, and ad copy. Report on and analyze paid performance to provide actionable recommendations for target customer acquisition.Â
- Brainstorm new and creative lead acquisition strategies through digital marketingÂ
- Create pro-forma projections for annual, quarterly and monthly campaign results based on historic performanceÂ
- Perform tests – executing, measuring, reporting and recommending future implementation of those learningsÂ
- Oversee work of and collaborate with agency partners to execute and track results against benchmarks and established targetsÂ
- Demonstrate diligence, attention to detail, and adherence to best practices throughout the full campaign lifecycleÂ
- Work cross functionally and collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experienceÂ
- Evaluate emerging technologies, platforms, and delivery techniquesÂ
- Review and analyze competitors’ digital marketing activities
- Create monthly reports to chart progress against goals for website and campaign activityÂ
Identify, build and deploy strategies, techniques and tactics to increase website visitors, obtain high-ranking placement in search engines and convert website visitors.
- Report on, analyze and recommend improvements to website performance, content-specific metrics, SEO metrics, lead capturing, and lead nurturing processesÂ
- Perform competitor research – analyze their website, find gaps in their SEO strategies, recommend improvements based on analysisÂ
- Partner with agency partners to develop recommendations and oversee planning and executionÂ
- Research and find relevant keywords with proper competitiveness and search volume to use in content and on websiteÂ
- Perform website technical audit and work with agency to remedy errorsÂ
- Stay current with trends, algorithm updates and SEO strategies and best practicesÂ
Partner with the Marketing, Product and Sales teams to participate in developing, executing, and optimizing all aspects of our digital acquisition strategy by linking data and analytics to acquisition strategy and funnel performance.Â
- Develop and monitor real-time dashboards and reports to identify core business drivers and key performance trendsÂ
- Provide insights into acquisition rates and tactics for core ICPs and test and recommend new approaches to improve targetingÂ
- Analyze data from paid media advertising platforms including, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Ads and Keyword Planner Tool to develop insights and accelerate business growthÂ
- Surface opportunities to increase marketing efficiency, improve conversion rates, and optimize cost per acquisition to drive growth and spend effectivenessÂ
Qualifications:Â
- 3-5 years of work experience in a marketing or marketing analytics roleÂ
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or a quantitative majorÂ
- Proven success with SEO, SEM, PPC strategy, best practices and tacticsÂ
- Experience increasing organic search traffic, rankings and revenueÂ
- Ability to execute successful paid search campaigns using Google AdsÂ
- Experience with integrating SEO strategies into paid media/paid searchÂ
- Experience creating calls-to-action and landing pages that drive conversionÂ
- Knowledge of landing page best practices and A/B testing approachesÂ
- Success with lead generation, nurturing, and scoring, and prospect list buildingÂ
- Strong qualitative and quantitative skills with the ability to draw conclusions and form recommendations from data analyses (i.e., functional expertise in exploratory data analysis, hypotheses testing, root cause analysis, scenario modeling, defining metrics, and measuring performance)Â
- Highly self-motivated, highly productive, results-oriented, positive can-do attitude, team player, detail-oriented and organizedÂ
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and managementÂ
- Comfortable multi-tasking and working on multiple projects in a team settingÂ
- In-depth experience with website analytics and technical SEO tools, such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrushÂ
- Experience with Google Ads, Google Analytics, HubSpot certifications desiredÂ
- Proficiency in WordPressÂ
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPointÂ
