ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Digital Marketing Specialist plays a vital role in supporting investment banking teams across the platform by designing and distributing digital marketing communications that align with the Stephens brand. Key tasks include:
- Distribute Stephens content via HTML email blasts (includes deal announcements, newsletters, digital invitations, etc.)
- Ensure email marketing efforts and technical execution conform to US and international spam and privacy requirements
- Prepare posts for Social Media platforms
- Maintain and manage email distribution lists
- Leverage delivery stats to evaluate digital campaigns and improve list segmentation
- Make updates to the Stephens website
- Maintain the Stephens digital brand
- Creawte and maintain, as needed, case studies, white papers, executive bios, newsletter content, social media & web content, templates and proposals
- Design and Produce high-quality pitch books, presentations, and other content assets using company templates and style guides
- Maintain the presentation library, ensure that slides are up-to-date and consistent
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree and a minimum of one year of professional experience dealing with digital and social media management; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office and Mac software including MS Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Keynote, Excel, and Word) and Adobe Creative Suite (including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop). Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) a plus.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Strong attention to detail with experience delivering high-quality, accurate, and appropriately branded work product.
- Demonstrated professional-level writing experience and communication skills. Strong knowledge of grammar and composition rules required for editing and proofreading material.
- A creative and critical eye for design.
- Self-starter who can manage time effectively, prioritize work to balance multiple projects, and meet deadlines with little supervision.
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work well on a team, and with multiple stakeholders.
- Exceptional work ethic.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to travel and work non-standard hours, if required.
