Description
ADTRAV is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to be an integral part of the Marketing department and overall marketing strategy. The Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing strong and innovative marketing strategies to promote the brand, products, and services. The position effectively uses all marketing tools and techniques like PPC, SEO, SEM, email, social media, and display advertising to achieve the company's growth strategies. This position must be located in Birmingham, AL or within a 2 hour drive from our office; the position will be required to attend meetings periodically in the office but can be remote/hybrid.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Create and manage high-quality websites with cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility, while optimizing domain authority and SEO.
- Maintain and improve existing WordPress applications, including a multisite installation.
- Act as a hands-on member of the front-end team, and work closely with design and marketing teams to improve the user experience and SEO.
- Ensure consistency in the brand messaging.
- Work with the sales and marketing team to coordinate marketing campaigns.
- Identify trends and insights in the industry and apply to ADTRAV campaigns and marketing.
- Allocate and monitor marketing campaign investments.
- Plan, create, and direct marketing campaigns (Corporate and Sponsored).
- Create workflows for marketing campaigns including experiment and conversion testing.
- Optimize campaigns and manage A/B testing to improve conversions; target audiences, landing pages, CTAs, etc.
- Create emails and newsletters to send to current clients.
- Optimize content for the website and social media platforms.
- Publish various content formats such as blogs, videos, audio podcasts, etc.
- Implement and analyze performance metrics.
- Generate Digital KPIs and provide internal reports on a regular basis.
- Execute new and creative collaborations among technologies and platforms.
- Assist in the planning and coordination of trade shows, conferences, meetings, and events; work non-standard business hours during meetings and events.
- Research and identify new trends to improve the company's website.
- Become an expert in ADTRAV's industry and customer base.
- Represent ADTRAV by embracing the company values and maintaining effective working relationships with employees, partners, vendors, and clients.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience required.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in web development and marketing experience on different digital platforms.
- Advanced WordPress development skills required.
- Highly proficient in of PHP, HTML/CSS and JavaScript, with a desire to build knowledge and skills in front-end development.
- Solid understanding of website hosting practices.
- Proven experience of identifying, attracting, and engaging target audiences and creating informative, engaging, and motivational digital campaigns.
- Experience with leading and managing social media marketing campaigns.
- Knowledge of email, newsletters, push notification and display advertising campaigns.
- Ability to use SEO, SEM and marketing databases for promotional purposes.
- Understanding of landing pages optimization, user funnels and A/B testing.
- Proficiency in using website analytics tools, ad serving tools and marketing software (e.g., Zoho).
- Up-to-date knowledge of digital marketing trends and developments.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PPT) and Adobe Creative suite.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to details with emphasis on accuracy and quality, and a critical eye for design aesthetic.
- Highly self-motivated and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with varying deadlines.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment while balancing both strategic and tactical responsibilities.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to communicate ideas and concepts clearly and concisely, while also being open to receive feedback and direction as needed.
- Able to present a professional and positive demeanor with internal and external customers/clients and work cooperatively.
- Ability to work remotely and meet the company home-office requirements.
- Able to maintain confidentiality of company and client information.
- Able to work outside of normal business hours, including nights and weekends, during company meetings and events.
- Able to travel up to 20%.
