About the Job:
The Digital Merchant Coordinator will be responsible for assisting in ensuring we are delivering a best in class user experience and will be responsible for maintaining the RTR storefront, with a keen focus on product merchandising.
This position has a specific focus on managing the receipt to site process and will work cross-functionally with Buying, Production, Planning & Operations in order to ensure timely releases of product to the site with accountability for accurate product information.
The successful candidate will quickly turn around projects with an unrelenting attention to detail and organizational ability. This will be a 6 month engagement with RTR as a temporary worker.
What You'll Do:
- Manage the execution of timely and accurate product launch, including product descriptions, fit/sizing guidance, pricing, imagery, and product attributes
- Identify bottlenecks within the receiving process to ensure we stay within SLA for site publication
- Maintain taxonomy databases of product attribute data required for site publish with best in class merchandising
- Collaborate with buying team on-boarding new designer assets needs for successful launch on the RTR website
- Assist in managing photo shoot samples and logistics for your product division by collaborating with sample coordinators and buying to ensure correct and timely visual assets for PDP
- Work with the x-functional team to ensure that all site QA call-outs are executed efficiently and submit/manage/close issue tracks as needed in regards to these issues.
- Partner with Site Merchandiser Manager to ensure product merchandising is reflective of strategies and understand its impact on the customer storefront experience.
- Ensure all deadlines are met for successful site production
- Organize and develop new SOPs for new systems and merch based workflows
- Help serve as the department subject matter expert on merchandising.
- Assist in the day to day execution of merchandising the Rent the Runway website
About You:
- Have a Bachelor's Degree and at least 1 year of ecommerce experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Required (Excel & PowerPoint knowledge is a must)
- Can effectively manage change & shift gears comfortably
- Can make effective decisions without always having total picture
- Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously with high attention to detail
- Superior verbal and written communications skills
- Aptitude for being organized and for delivering results in a fast-paced environment
- Pro-collaborative personality; ability to use feedback from others in a constructive way
- Strong analytical skills
- Bonus Qualifications: Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics & CMS Experience

The anticipated hourly rate for this position is $28 to $31 per hour. The actual hourly rate offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held.
