About the Role
Sezzle is committed to building lasting partnerships with merchants for long-term growth and ongoing revenue generation. As a Digital Merchant Growth Manager, you work with merchant partners in one--to-many account relationships throughout the partner lifecycle to drive value and optimize experience. You will develop a digital strategy to engage Sezzle’s merchants on the adoption and promotion of Sezzle’s payment solution. You will act as the voice of our product and ambassador of our brand, delivering expertise, education, and guidance to our merchants. From overseeing communication channels to creating self-service resources, you will ensure our merchants can successfully take full advantage of Sezzle's business-growing capabilities. You will communicate and coordinate with internal Sezzle teams such as Marketing, Sales, Product, and Support on behalf of the merchant, ensuring their various needs are met.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver a digital merchant contact strategy to drive usage, satisfaction, and revenue growth for our long tail business strategy.
- Analyze the customer journey and build a proactive digital communication strategy with the customer's goals in mind.
- Oversee long-term digital campaigns and spearhead short-term initiatives.
- Present growth opportunities and educate merchants on Sezzle’s portfolio of services. (small business loans, in-store financing, long term financing)
- Collaborate with Sezzle’s Marketing team to develop a cohesive marketing strategy to engage and build merchant capacity leveraging our branded assets.
- Deliver marketing best practices and optimization strategies with our merchant partners.
- Manage Sezzle’s merchant communication approach and strategy.
- Monitor customer health based on data and analytics tools to optimize usage.
- Proactively engage in activities to prevent merchant churn or reduced use of Sezzle’s payment solutions.
- Design and launch scalable processes, workflows, and automations to drive efficiencies and effectiveness of our tech-touch customer success program and deliver greater value to our customers.
- Work closely with the Merchant Success and Growth teams to proactively and regularly identify challenges that require operational solutions.
Minimum Requirements:
- 2+ years in strategy media, digital marketing sales, digital customer success
- Experience designing tech-touch processes and automation
- BA/BS degree strongly preferred or equivalent experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in Totango
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Familiarity with payments technology or consumer financing is preferred
- Experience in building and scaling operational tools
- A track record of meeting deadlines and seeing programs through from beginning to end

- Strong communication skills; able to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders including leadership and cross-functional teams
- Excellent organization skills: experience managing project plans and meeting deadlines Passion for continuous iteration and experimentation
- Data-driven & analytical; able to use data to measure the business impact of solution
