Digital & Operation Relationship Manager
Job Description
The Digital/Operation Business Relationship Manager is the liaison between AES Clean Energy Digital Team and AES Clean Energy Operation Team. Responsible to advise AES CE Operation stakeholders and capture digital demands. Identify high level operational digital requirements, develop initial business cases and act as a primary point of contact ensuring that business expectations are met. Also accompany, support and collaborate in any Digital initiative that the operation requires, aligning it with the global guidelines.
As part of its functions and responsibilities, and in coordination with the CDO, he/her must also carry out specialize Digital Solutions to support, maintain, develop and deliver various information systems, software and hardware to the AES Clean Energy Operation business. This role will support existing IT platforms at the business unit and individual staff level, roll out new software and hardware to the business unit in concert with larger corporate IT and assist operational functions in troubleshooting issues with our information systems. Some after hours or weekend support may be required for this role, in collaboration with remote support from our centralized corporate IT function.
The role has an hybrid format, someday's at home and others in the office. The offices are located in Arlington, Salt Lake City, Louisville, Houston and Indianapolis. Traveling to meet Clean Energy teams are needed around 1 week per month.
Responsibilities:
- Shape demand for stakeholder services, capabilities, and products, ensuring business operations fully leverage the service portfolio and capabilities within the broader AES digital strategy.
- Primary interface between the Operation team and the Digital team.
- Identify strategic business opportunities.
- Coordinate resources, manage Business Partner expectations, and integrate activities in accordance with the business across the organization.
- Ensure success of business initiatives arising from the exploration and service engagements.
- Focus on digital awareness, risk assessment, business continuity and business capability requirements.
- Communicate with business leadership to evaluate joint initiatives and proposals to see how they align with established roadmaps and business priorities.
- Support the Digital IT, DX and Collaboration team as PoC and resolution agent.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 10 year experience in IT/Digital Areas
- 10 year experience in energy operation processes (traditional or Clean Energy)

The expected salary for this position begins at $115,000. Factors that may be used to determine final salary offered include relevant experience, skills, location, qualifications and other factors, consistent with applicable law. This position is eligible to receive an annual bonus.
