Digital Operations Senior Lead

This role will lead Operations and Architecture for Next Generation Technologies, Automation and Process Intelligence solutions under Enterprise Technology team. The role will help to design, operate, measure, enhance and scale the solutions for these key enablers of Mars’ digital strategy, helping drive significant benefits in terms of growth, efficiency, quality, risk, and service levels. The position will be helping to support and improve one of Mars’ new service offerings – RapidRead, a ground-breaking AI that reads and analyzes pet x-rays within seconds.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree and above with computer science related majors

• Minimum 7 years of experience in similar working scopes under the global network

• Good understanding of OOP principles

• Experience with developing, securing and integrating APIs

• A solid understanding of computer science fundamentals such as data structures and algorithms

• Familiarity/comfort with Linux and Windows servers

• Cloud, preferably Azure (specifically PAAS and AKS as well as general Azure ML Ops).

• Scripting, preferably Python.

• Familiarity with SQL

• Large enterprise and ITSM

• Preferred Competences: Excellent problem-solving skills; Strong drive for results and innovation; Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders and partners possessing varied levels of technical proficiency; Quick learner

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Innovate and design new architectural patterns and improvements to provide benefits for existing and future solutions within this space (Next Generation Technologies, Automation and Process Intelligence).

• Engage with Strategic Partners to optimize the ongoing support and deployment model for Next Generation Technologies', Automation, and Process Intelligence solutions.

• Leadership role within Digital Operations and Architecture.

• Collaborate with Next Generation Technologies, Automation and Process Intelligence resources to help lead operations take-on for coming solutions, including coordination of operationalizing solution to support scalability and reliability requirements.

• Configure, deploy, and retire both infrastructure and user accounts as part of the solution lifecycle

• Manage capacity and plan according to demand to ensure efficiency without bottlenecks

• Create documentation and knowledge articles to help mature processes and ensure transition and succession capabilities

• Assist with Service Management - building and progressing reporting, monitoring, and alerting within solutions.

• Collaborate within team and externally to ensure compliance to audit and process governance for all deployments and changes.
