Digital Product Designer

Tecovas is the first direct-to-consumer western brand, founded with the simple goal of making the world’s best western boots, apparel and leather goods - and selling them at a fair price. We are a brand revolutionizing a category and welcoming first-time boot buyers and western enthusiasts alike. 

Tecovas is looking for a Digital Product Designer that is a graphic design expert with a career focus in site experience across all digital mediums that can help execute a cohesive brand and visual identity. This role will report to the Head of Digital Product. The Digital Product team is responsible for site design and the Digital Designer will act as the bridge from the Creative team to UX/UI Design and Engineering. 

As the Digital Product Designer, you will help to concept and develop all visual assets across launches, social media, email messages, blog content, and on web layout. 

What you’ll do:

• Work on creating elevated visual digital standards and design system that delivers a cohesive branded experience on the site and all digital assets
• Be the resident expert on digital design trends. Stay up to date on the industry and share out insights with Digital Product and Creative teams
• Use your creative problem solving skills to prototype/wireframe new designs and utilize user testing to iterate and build on your ideas
• Work directly within the Digital Product team to support Creative to make all visual communications that represent Tecovas. Strategically work off creative briefs and insights with tight timelines for projects including but not limited to:
• Web: design new pages/wireframes in figma and web assets under the direction of the Sr Director of Digital and partnership with the UX/UI designer
• Innovation: assist in new digital product development and launch concepting and design 
• Email Assets: develop, design, and maintain brand standards for visual communication across our email channels.
• Ads: creative for Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, SMS, affiliate banners, and Google Display ads.
• Ad hoc: presentation design and supplementary assets (business cards, internal merch, office material)
• Blog: develop and execute assets for our blog articles.

Experience we’re looking for:

• BFA or BA in graphic design, advertising, or relevant field
• 5+ Years experience in a graphic design role
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Photo Editing, Figma
• Basic knowledge of After Effects, Premiere Pro, Media Encoder, general video editing
• Basic knowledge of Klaviyo is a plus
• Experience with user-testing platforms and related software (i.e. usertesting.com, userzoom, qualtrics, etc.)
