We are seeking a motivated, results-oriented college student to join our team for the summer of 2023. The Carrier internship experience offers interns an environment that provides practical, challenging, and meaningful on-the-job work experience, and the opportunity to apply knowledge and demonstrate strengths in efforts to assist Carrier in achieving its business strategy.

This position will provide technical and procedural support for the digital advancement of the North America HVAC Ductless (DLS) & Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) product roadmap. As a Product Management Intern for this business, you will be working very closely with the DLS &VRF Digital Product Lead and will be responsible for:

- Digital program management and governance

- R&D

During this time, the individual will work directly with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to gain a deep understanding of DLS & VRF products and gather all the requirements to onboard those products into our digital solutions. This will be an opportunity to develop expertise in a fast-growing product market and create solutions that matter to people and our planet.

Key focus activities:

Digital program management

- Collaborate with product teams to develop business case proposals

- Facilitate architecture and design sessions

- Capture requirements and create documentation for the development team.

R&D

- Identify new applications of digital technology

- Conduct voice-of-customer assessments

- Analysis of competitors' digital solutions.

Experience / Qualifications

- Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree program, majoring in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field of study

- GPA must be greater than or equal to 3.0 GPA

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Strong analytical and data visualization skills.

- Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

- Ability to own and deliver work independently while also working within a team.
