Job Description

SUMMARY/SCOPE OF POSITION:

At Rockwell, we believe in the power of technology, data, and expertise to transform manufacturing. Intelligent devices are the foundation on which a connected enterprise is built - providing intelligent automation, control, and information to power high performance production operations. We are seeking strategic product management expertise for our Digital Product Manager role for the Intelligent Devices segment.

In this role, you will bring the next generation of customer experience and value to life. You'll be responsible for developing and driving the product requirements for digital experiences and products that integrate with our Intelligent Devices portfolio including variable frequency drives, motion control drives, sensors, independent cart, energy monitors, industrial control devices, Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and beyond. These requirements will turn into the road maps that deliver new capabilities across our entire Intelligent Device Segment. This will require deep market analysis, competitive analysis, business model development and go to market model development.

Preferred location is Mequon or Milwaukee W, Mayfield Heights Oh, Chelmsford, MA or Cambridge, Canada. We will also consider other remote locations in the US.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Develop a deep understanding of the market opportunities, competitive environment, and customer insights to inform our digital product and software requirements.
  • Build requirements and roadmaps including modern digital design tools, embedding smart digital capabilities in our devices, and digital software/ARR offerings that deliver outcomes across the customer lifecycle.
  • Assess ROI for all requirements and propose roadmaps that maximize customer experience differentiation and revenue.
  • Develop and assess plans for make, partner, buy on the requirements needed to fulfill the digital strategy.
  • Assess and develop technology requirements in AI/ML, CPQ, mobile, wireless, edge / cloud to enable digital capabilities that are scalable and agile.
  • Work with development team and the project management office to build these into our Lean Portfolio Management, SAFe and Jira backlog tools prioritizing timelines, roadmaps and resource availability.
  • Develop got to market and business models for these new offerings.
  • Work across product management across the Intelligent Device segment to build a wholistic view of roadmap and requirements for all products.
  • Collaborate with Industry teams to ensure alignment to BSR asks.
  • Deliver digital growth goals on yearly basis.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Legal authorization to work in country of employment is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
  • Ability to Travel up to 10%

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
  • Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of experience developing, launching and managing products using agile product development
  • Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of experience developing products that leverage technologies including AI/ML, Edge, Mobile and Cloud experience
  • Understanding of best practices in user experience (UX) design
  • Experience in developing go to market models for digital offerings
  • Outstanding executive-level verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of digital transformation market needs
  • Passion for making the complex simple to deliver on digital strategy
  • Comfort collaborating and delivering results through a complex and matrixed organization
  • Expert at driving execution of development programs with engineering teams
  • Comfort working in a high growth, constantly changing environment
  • Experience shaping strategy and executing business plans

The Salary Compensation range for this is 122,880.00 - 153,600.00 USD Annual with an annual target bonus of 8 % of base salary. Our company benefits for the US can be found at RABenefits . Actual pay will be based on factors such as skills, knowledge, education, and experience.

This position is part of a job family. Experience will be the determining factor for position level and compensation.
