Digital Product Manager

Summary:
The Southern California News Group is looking for a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our Operations team, as a Business Systems Manager. Under this role, the Business Systems Manager is responsible for managing all of our business systems and platforms. This person will be a key contributor of the operations team. This role will be responsible for the development and delivery of business requirements, solution scope, testing, training, key performance indicators and data analysis for continuous process improvements.
What you will do:

• Assists in managing platforms and business systems used by Southern California News Group
• Responsible for configuring business packages, tools and integrations.
• Works with internal teams, Sales, Marketing, Leadership, Product and Finance teams and helps gathers requirements for improvement projects and then executes on those projects
• Assist in writing all SOP/roadmaps regarding business systems and new product rollouts
• Proactively identify and flag risks and obstacles so the team can effectively plan for them
• Run project schedules and keep the team on track to meet deadlines
• Understand and communicate internal and external clients, business goals and strategic approach to lead all projects
• Ability to handle multiple projects at one time.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand our most pressing business objectives and prioritize

What you will bring:

• Experience with CRMs, MarTech platforms, Analytical platforms, AI Content Platforms, AdTech platforms and Project Management tools
• Excellent at learning, navigating and managing different platforms that serve different aspects of the business
• Impeccable writing ability for writing and documenting SOPs, SLAs
• Analytical and solution minded, and takes initiative without direction
• Critical thinking, problem-solving techniques, decision-making skills, and proactive approach
• High energy and Positive Attitude
• Extremely organized and able to work on several projects simultaneously
• Works well under pressure
• Patience

The annual salary range is $62,400-$65,000. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, time in role, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, MediaNews Group offers a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, and a 401K plan (all benefits are based on eligibility).
