About This Job
This position supports the strategic direction of the Bank's Commercial Digital business. The main purpose of this job is to support the growth and profitability of the commercial online and mobile channels, including the identification and development of new product opportunities. You will organize the product channel team through all phases of discovery, implementing enhancements and maintaining our applications, while ensuring compliance with organizational standards and industry best practices.
Successful candidates must be a self-starter possessing a broad base of analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills, superior organizational skills as well as the ability to work effectively in a fluid, fast-paced environment. This role requires demonstrated organization skills; ensuring activities are planned and executed to achieve project deliverables. Successful candidates will also have strong skills in mentoring team members, solid communication skills, be highly collaborative, and have proven elicitation and facilitation skills in addition to robust documentation skills. The ideal candidate will be highly organizational and proactive in improving the efficiency and performance of processes.
Essential Functions
- Contribute to the development and implementation of all business initiatives and tasks, and drive those initiatives and tasks for mobile channels
- Contribute to the development and implementation of product strategy and functionality with management oversight
- Maintain open communication across multiple lines of business, including sales, marketing, operations and IT
- Develop deep expertise in our product and provide training and mentorship to others
- Review and provide feedback on design and UX flow
- Perform market research and gain insight into customer needs; Identify opportunities to solve market problems
- Facilitate task-based meetings, such as priority or status meetings
- Contribute to and coordinate product launches and regular feature rollout (including customer conversion) alongside partners including Sales, Marketing, Operations, Product, IT, Customer Support, etc
- Manage creation of supporting documentation and training materials for all new releases and available functionality
- Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
- Ability to communicate clearly & effectively with multiple technical & non-technical groups
- Ability to understand and interpret the needs and preferences of multiple customer and user archetypes, and balance those with the business and operational needs of the bank
- Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Innovative, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- 2+ years product management or related experience required
