About the Job:

The Program Manager (Journey Lead) is responsible for driving the innovation and prioritization of Taco Bell’s MAKE & FULFILL SQUAD to achieve defined business and customer outcomes. This role owns the ideation backlog and is responsible for developing a roadmap of initiatives enabling enhancements within both customer and team member journeys (digital and non-digital) – across products and platforms​.

This person serves as the squad expert on journey insights, leveraging customer and team member data and feedback to inform test ideation and test design​. They will work directly with the squad’s Portfolio Lead to jointly align on quick wins and high-impact tests for each sprint and ensure a healthy pipeline of test ideas​.  They will partner with technology Solution Architects, Operations experts, and other cross-functional teams to validate perspective against the squad roadmap and ensure Experience teams have the necessary requirements to execute on-time delivery​.

The Program Manager will lead all forward-looking squad-level events (e.g., ideation, refinement, & sprint planning), ensuring a healthy pipeline of ideas, setting acceptance criteria and value sizing, and laying out a clear work plan​. This role will own the design, development, and execution of all test initiatives while also packaging successful tests to scale across the system by creating a clear business case and determining the next steps.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Lead product discovery, understand problems to solve, and define new capabilities to add to the product backlog to deliver against squad OKRs through agile methodology; Manage and refine the prioritized backlog and drive cross-functional prioritizations based on strategic business impact across digital and non-digital channels
  • Lead ideation sessions and develop a roadmap aligned with business needs and technical capabilities leveraging customer and team member data and feedback to inform test ideation and design
  • Partner with Senior leadership to align on wins and high impact test for each spirit and ensure a healthy pipeline of test ideas.
  • Manage stakeholder collaboration and communications; Build cross-functional partnerships to ensure that projects align with evolving organizational standards for architecture, security, and portfolio standards/methodologies
  • Work closely with solution architects and development teams to understand the technology enablers/constraints for new test ideas and product features to ensure teams have the necessary requirements to execute on-time delivery; finalize product requirements to include business and technical goals and constraints
  • Oversee all live test initiatives set up to ensure all restaurant selection, communications, training materials, and timelines are available.

Is This You?

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of relatable experience
  • 8+ years of experience in digital program management or similar, building and executing a strategic roadmap of capabilities and related initiatives in areas of responsibility.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (Monday.com, JIRA/Confluence), and agile methodologies/scrum ceremonies.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and develop fact-based recommendations to solve problems, using structured methodologies (customer journey mapping, design thinking, business process design, A/B testing)
  • Proven ability to lead a combination of direct and virtual team members in a collaborative environment with demonstrated ability to manage vendors and build strategic partnerships
  • Outstanding written and verbal presentation skills with the ability to effectively manage stakeholder communications and involvement as well as run product team meetings

Salary Range: ­­$118,500 to $153,600 annually + bonus eligibility + benefits
