As a Digital Project Manager supporting US Vision Care, you will be trusted to work on technical coordination and delivery of all consumer and professional customer emails, webpages, and text messages for Vision Care (VC). This role will be responsible for all associated eCRM support activities from planning to tagging to deployment and analytics/reporting. This is a technical-focused role ensuring that all backend activities are functioning properly to enable efficient and accurate executive of all planned digital and omnichannel communications.

The Project Manager will also have responsibility for ensuring correct deployment of business requirements from the VC team by IT and Omnichannel teams. This includes testing, troubleshooting, and solutioning.

Critical business partners include local Omni-channel, global Omni-channel, IT, Operations, and external agency partners involved in Alcon's digital, analytics, and email efforts.

A typical day in this role will include:

  • Serving as the Technical lead to identify appropriate stakeholders in IT and Omnichannel teams, working collaboratively to ensure project execution
  • Project management for both consumer and professional eCRM projects, including the development and rollout of planned capabilities
  • Grooming and solutioning of project stories based on business needs and objectives
  • Deploying new capabilities in the digital and omnichannel space, and supporting a self-serve structure for team needs
  • Acting as the liaison between marketing team and the technical/development teams
  • Identifying most efficient processes for building and replicating email journeys and templates for faster implementation and more frequent iterative testing.
  • Partnering with Marketing Cloud Manager to develop emails and templates from designs, ensuring creative is translated, built, and delivered on-time
  • UAT reviews for web and email
  • Collaborating with IT for Audiences, including changes, predictions, and optimizations following internal data lake
  • Tagging and analytics setup
  • Focusing on improving digital KPIs through continuous testing
  • Working with global counterparts for sharing best practices, utilize existing programs where possible, and collaborate on customer-focused problem-solving

WHAT CAN YOU BRING TO ALCON:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs; Assoc.+6 yrs; M.S.+0 yrs)
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
  • 2 Years of Relevant Experience

Preferred skills and experience:

  • Extensive experience in eCRM marketing programs, particularly Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Proven experience in implementing and extracting digital metrics and analytics, content management, and data audiences, including Google Analytics, Quantum Analytics, Tealium, Dataroma, and Tableau
  • Familiar with Jira for project management and the principles of agile methodology
  • Ability to build effective internal and external relationships and influencing change
  • Proactive self-starter, with previous experience in owning the solutioning of technical gaps in projects; driving efficiencies and ensuring the appropriate solve to deliver to business needs.
  • Both B2B and B2C experience preferred
  • Capable of delivering results in a fast-paced environment
  • High degree of technical knowledge and proficiency
  • 2 Years of Relevant Experience with digital metrics and analytics
