Responsibilities:
- Devise and deliver public relations strategies for the global market. Map out strategic PR plans based on corporate initiatives, company announcements, awards, and events with our PR consultant
- Develop innovative storytelling to raise awareness of our position as an industry leader and drive greater understanding of our full range of products and services to key audiences – marketers, the press, the broader media/marketing trade world
- Help create a global PR strategy and implement our messaging across markets, using various digital outletsÂ
- Identify media opportunities and gather information in a timely manner from relevant teams.
- Develop pitch concepts and assets such as press releases, byline articles, and email pitches.
- Monitor competitive news and recommend strategies.
- Maintain an award calendar for the company, write and submit award nominations.
- Partner closely with Content Management and Product Marketing teams to align their content strategy with your PR strategy/calendar and plan what articles, editorials, blog posts, etc are needed from the Content & Product Marketing team/PR agency for media outreach.
- Work closely with our client strategy teams to help develop and create opportunities for custom stories for our customers in conjunction with PMG
- Work closely with our Strategy/Insights team to create and distribute our research and key themes broadly
- Manage comms to the CEO and ensure he is up to speed on journalists, key topics, relevant stories, and market position
- Measure the success of key PR and communications projects, showing the value of the team’s efforts to support business growth and development.
Skills & Experience:Â
- A minimum of 5 years experience in public relations, either in an agency or corporate setting.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Established relationships with journalists, particularly tech media, bloggers, and business press preferred.
- Excellent writing and editing skills, verbal communications skills, and detailed project management skills.
- Great relationship-building skills and the ability to work within a team environment across different time zones.
- Creative, positive, and high-energy individual with a hands-on mentality and excitement for new technologies and emerging trends.
- Demonstrated experience in technology industries preferred.
