Job Title: Pokémon Center Digital Sculptor

Job Summary: The Pokémon Center Merchandise Development division of The Pokémon Company International (TPCi) is the team that develops products for all TPCi Pokémon Center channels. This team is also tasked with assuring that all Pokémon Center products are created accurate and true to the rules and vision of the Pokémon brand while maintaining the highest level of quality possible. This position will be responsible for designing, sculpting, and developing new figurine and 3D lines and working with internal team members for the review and approval of those items. The ideal candidate will be familiar with product design development, 3D sculpting, and various types of mass production materials to help guide around manufacturing challenges

What you’ll do

  • Create production-ready 3D models of Pokémon Center products.
  • Develop specification artwork for new hard goods lines including, but not limited to: figures, decorative home goods, plush, and jewelry based on brand/marketing beats and the overall PC product calendar.
  • Manage creation of new products through internal processes/systems.
  • Interpret internal stakeholders’ needs into actionable product concepts/sketches.
  • Work with internal approvals team to maintain accuracy of 3D items based on official references/guidelines.
  • Efficient and effective time management of project workloads.
  • Keep up to date of developments in design applications and new print trends and techniques.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of current pop-culture product trends.           

What you’ll bring

  • Three (3) to four (4) years related experience required.
  • Bachelors degree in Fine Arts or related field required.
  • Must be comfortable with design and development processes that includes managing feedback from multiple sources, constructive criticism, and creative direction.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Understanding of 3D modeling software ZBrush, Maya, or similar.
  • Proficient with the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Knowledge of production processes, print technology, including screen print, digital, and offset processes is a plus.
  • Ability to work in both a collaborative team environment and independently.
  • Must be solution-oriented and results-driven with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Capable of adapting to a fast-paced and rapidly evolving environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word.
  • Familiarity with project tracking software like Esko and WorkFront is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Pokémon world is a plus.

  • Base salary range: 70000.00 - 105000.00 $. This range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. It is common for TPCi to start employees below the midpoint of the range. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates qualifications and experience uniquely.
