Digital Servicing Intern

The Avant Product team focuses on delivering multi-product, omnichannel capabilities to enable our organization to hit growth objectives and deliver a best-in-class customer experience. As a Summer 2022 Intern at Avant, you'll join a high-functioning team of passionate product professionals who know their performance is critical to Avant achieving its mission.
Our ideal candidate will be someone who is highly analytical, collaborative, comfortable with ambiguity and taking initiative to contribute towards broader team goals. This role will involve partnering with stakeholders in Product, Engineering and the financial product teams.
What you'll do at Avant

• Carry out market research and analysis on platform selection
• Test & audit current product analytics dashboards. Identify gaps or improvements in product processes, data collection, or documentation
• Build out reporting and analytics dashboards to provide insight into the products and features( new mobile app) that the pod is building (e.g. HEAP, Looker, Google Data Studio)
• Support product managers in project management (e.g. JIRA administration)
• Support product managers in pod documentation and organization (e.g. Confluence & Notion)
• Present on work products and observations (i.e. Intern Demo Day)

Requirements :

• Actively enrolled in an accredited 4-year undergrad degree program with a specialization in relevant technical field (Business,Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, Economics) or equivalent work
• Comfortable using SQL, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Web research
• Some business analysis/ accounting / financial statement knowledge is preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills, analytical skills, combined with intellectual curiosity
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interface with multiple stakeholders across the organization, with an eye towards building cross-functional collaboration and support
• Undergrad or graduate students
